All out of order?
Hi everyone, I'm pretty sure I'm doing everything all out of order as I try to check things off as they come up. I've started writing posts for my WA website, applied for an EIN and business license in my state, but I'm not sure what I'm missing. l tend to get excited about new "stuff" and jump in at the deep end. Can someone give me any advice about keeping my tasks better organized so that I don't end up missing a crucial step? Thanks!

It's totally okay - I am still super stoked about finding this and how interactive and helpful Kyle is for us.

I can tell you for sure you are doing this the right way. EIN, Business License, and Next would be your taxes.
Make sure to seek out a tax professional to help you with this or a licensed CPA (Certified Professional Accountant). I emphasize this because every state has different taxes for different businesses.
And you want to make sure that you are taking out the correct amount of taxes for your business and filing correctly and on time. (Nice tax penalty I had to find out about the hard way.)
Keep all of your legal documents such as your tax info organized and separate from other paperwork. You will need them to file your taxes every year.
