My WA journey to date

Hi all, thought i'd do a status post on where i'm at with WA & some successes & challenges i'm having along the way.

I recently became a premium member & athough i'm very busy in my engineering industry day job, uprading my membership has inspired me to focus also on my web blog & business ideas.

I'm currenty working through the WA training & enjoying it. I also recently published the first post on my 'achievable fitness over 50' niche under my domain https://getstrongseniors.com/. Although the website theme & post is still vey much a work in progress i was pleasantly surprised that when i googled 'achievable fitness over 50' it's top of the first page in google & my 'get strong seniors' logo is first in the google images on the first page.

I'm not sure why i'm top of the first page but i suppose something must have gone right? Any thoughts?

My current theme is 'Twenty Sixteen' which is limited in it's presentation functionality. It's ok for now & is robust with smartphones but i've been searching & testing more visually appealing & customisable themes - no luck so far. Any advice on changing themes would be welcomed!!

I'm in the process of building out my second post which will get into workout & fitness details, hopefully with some video demos of exercises. With this i'm searching for video/voice over apps & just tested a free editing app called 'Video Pad'. I haven't had much luck with it yet. Again, any advice on video editing software for microsoft would help a lot!

My goals are to start getting revenue from my niche(s) in 6 months through affiliate links to products, programs & books & potentially with my own web site. I'm planning on retiring in 2.5 years so have some time to get it right - but will retire earlier if i can make some decent revenue.

I'll look forward to continuing my niche journey & interacting with WA members.
