What lead me to WA!
Even though I had never heard of WA until a couple of weeks ago, I had been considering starting a blog for a while now. I was looking for something different to add value to my cosmetics business and also to branch out into the business training and mentoring area.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would ever be involved in a network marketing company. I didn't want to be that annoying person with all those posts and requests for parties. However, I came across this makeup range, fell in love with it, and decided to join.
After joining, I realised that the promises of how easy it was to sell and make money, how little time and effort required to success were actually lies. It is HARD to make sales, ALOT of time is required, just like ANY business.
People are sold network marketing opportunities as a business to make big money in a short amount of time. When in fact, it takes a lot of time, making a little money to get there.
This is what led me to wanting to branch out into the business training and mentoring area. Network Marketing is a business opportunity, and as such, should be treated like any other business.
I want to give people the necessary tools and information to make informed decisions and be able to make the best of a great opportunity.
I also wanted to move away from Facebook and Instagram being my main platforms of advertising. There are so many people advertising on these platforms it can be difficult to stand out in the crowd. This is where I stumbled across WA.
I wanted to branch out into blogging, however, where does one start, how do you get noticed etc. I took the plunge and upgraded to Premium membership and even though I am only through the second course of Certification, the amount of knowledge I have gained is HUGE.
All of my doubts, concerns and insecurities about starting a blog have disappeared. I know I still have a lot to learn and ALOT of work to do, but I feel confident moving forward.
My vision of my blog is coming together and I am creating something that has been a long time goal of mine.
Whilst waiting for my domain to transfer, I plan on completing all the courses so I can hit the ground running!
I wish everyone at WA the best of luck with their ventures!
