How can I change the name ?

If the URL of a dot com and made a mistake, you need to purchase a new domain.

If the URL of a siterubix subdomain, you can delete and start again, however I’d save my work in site content.

If title and tagline (Just another WordPress site), settings > general edit and save changes.

To delete a siterubix subdomain | or dot com if applicable, click details on subdomain in question in site manager, onward next page scroll all the way to the bottom and click delete.

Choose a free domain, domain you own or register new, enter credentials and follow procedure.

It does not matter what the name of your website is. Search engines will index it and if you have a static home page that will be indexed too and ranked, but many home pages these days use posts rather than a static home page.

So your website name is really not what is being searched for. It is your pages and posts. That is why you do keyword research when choosing a title for your pages and posts. Your goal is to use a title that people are searching for.

I find that the name is more for branding, not for searches.

Your content will be used for searches to your website.

But if you want to change domain names , you have two options.

If you are on a starter account, you will have to delete the website you currently have and make a new one with the new subdomain.

If you are a premium member and using a domain name, you will have to pruchase the new domain name, then move the website over to the new domain name.

But again, the domain/subsomain is for branding, the content is for search engines to get your audience to the website.

thank you

No problem. Glad I could help.

Your audience is going to be finding your content via your posts. It's from your posts that you'll concentrate on good keyword research practices and SEO so they find it.

As far as your website name is concerned, as long as it's relevant to what your site is about, that's fine. You don't have to find a low hanging fruit keyword for your website name.
