Do you like your job?

Hi All,

I’m in the process of writing an eBook as a free give-away on my web site (http://whitecollarrevolution.com) and I’m on a fact-finding mission to learn more about what people are struggling with when it comes to their work. More specifically:

  1. If you work in a corporate job, what are some of your biggest struggles?
  2. If you work from home, what are some of your biggest struggles?
  3. If you’re retired from work, are you happy with the career path you took and the work you did? Would you choose the same career path again?
  4. If you're unemployed or looking for work, are you trying to find work you're passionate about, or are you just trying to find anything to help pay the bills?
  5. And lastly, are you currently doing work you love? If not, what obstacles are holding you back?

I would love to hear from you.

Please share your feedback below and thank you for your time!

- Jeff

Ok, since you asked! lol
1. In the corporate world, I think that things never move smoothly enough (unless you really don't care).
2. Working at home is generally that most people cannot reach their goals due to their inability to manage time (procrastination!!!).
3. No. No.
4. I think at this point, beings I am unemployed for over 2 years, it gets to a point you will just take what you can due to bills and LIVING.
5. Well, I am loving WA and signing up here was the best thing I have done in a long time; yet, I am not earning anything yet -- so, that i not a job, per se.

Hope that is what you are looking for! :) Terri

Thanks for the feedback Terri. You're an over-achiever and you get bonus points for answering all the questions! :-)

Your gardening in organics web site is full of great content. I can tell you have a passion in this area, and that's what my questioning is all about. I'm basically asking... are you following your true passion and purpose in life. And if not, why not?

There's always a way to have fun and make an honest living doing what you love. The secret is tapping into your strengths and creating an opportunity to succeed.

Thanks Terri, keep up the great work and the money will follow!

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.... lol Yes, as a farmer's daughter I have always loved the earth, plants and reaping the rewards (so to speak). My dad named all his plants but I don't think I can remember all that! I think I am following my passion as I am happy HAPPY!! So, now I ask you -- Are you following your true passion in life?! I think you are, but if not what would it be? A surfer? Beachcomber? Mountain climber? Rock star groupie? hahaha Just sayin' Thanks again for your input and always enjoy visiting with you. Terri

Hi Terri, a farmer's daughter definitely explains your knowledge and passion for gardening, and it shows! As far as my passion, I'm in the process of gaining clarity on that very subject, and also taking action to make that happen. It revolves around helping people, and working with them to bring out the best in their work and their lives. I know it's my passion and purpose. I can't say my current 9-5 job is my true calling in life, but it has provided a great foundation that I can use as I move forward and begin to build and shape my own life. Kind of like how you would plant a beautiful garden - one step at a time, with special care and attention the entire time.

PS - And I'm happy you're HAPPY! :-)
