Note to self, dont trust wix rant
Well to those who are reading this I am very upset at wix again for another one of their award winning shenanigans they just pulled on me about 5 min ago. This recent shenanigan involves my old website being moved. Not only did they not help, but the info provided was confusing. After talking with customer support I realized no support was going to be given anyway, they were just reading off the website with the promise that things will be better if I was to return to premium status. OF COURSE
Premium, from my experience on wix really is just a waste of time. Unless you are:
- A newbie blogger
- Someone looking for a quick website build
- A low key market site without coding
What I realized is that its not for
- Advanced marketers
- B2B websites
- People who want REAL SEO
It took me a year to realize all of this but its the typical school of hard knocks I suppose. I guess I got the wake up call when I wanted their support to understand how to build a leadpage that would be suitable for getting contacts. Well the support guy scheduled me in for a 30 min call that took place in a record breaking 2 WEEKS from the requested date to give me the powerful secret of building a leadpage........... which consisted of just the cookie cutter tool that was buggy at times. Also he was reading word for word what was on the site. INCREDIBLE, I wish I would have known a year ago how much of a ripoff wix truly is.
