Jini Li's WA Progress Update
I'm just finishing up Lesson 10 of the introductory WA Certification Program. The step-by-step guidelines that I've gone through have matured my ability to build a website and have also taught me about various tools I have and how to use them to create success.
I have a lot of interests, and have always had a hard time pinning down a focus. While developing my first website, I learned a lot about myself, and have discovered what has always been true, but not obvious to me. My greatest passion is human development and everything that contributes to it. So my chosen niche and my main website are about developing virtues and building character. It's about whole person health and wellbeing.
I've built two websites, one is Finding Financial Freedom (http://financialfreedom.radiantacquiescence.com) and the other is Radiant Acquiescence (http://radiantacquiescence.com).
My Finding Financial Freedom website is about making money online. I haven't contributed a lot, actually only my WA review so far, but as I learn more about other programs, I will offer my reviews of those as well. It's been just 3 weeks since I first started and I'm not expecting a financial miracle, but while here, I have also come across some affiliate programs which I am studying and learning to apply as I build content for my websites.
My Radiant Acquiescence website has more content, and consistent posting. I have set goals for myself there, and will contribute at least 1, ideally 2, and monumentally 3 articles each week there. I have found WAs feedback and comment formats to be very helpful. I love the give and take, I offer comments to others on their posts, and I get comments from others on my posts as well. It is very encouraging to read the comments people have been entering. There are so many topics I need to write about that if I just wrote all day long every day, this would keep me busy for months!
Over the next 3 and 6 months, I will be bulking up my websites with quality content and continue studying about different affiliate programs to find the ones that fit in with my niche, and work them into my pages and blogs. I think that as I learn about them, I can also compose reviews for my Finding Financial Freedom website. This seems like a natural way to build both sites.
I have been making hand-crafted soaps and body products for over 3 years now, and love manufacturing small, quality batches. Over the next 6 months, I will be developing products to sell on my Petals & Pebbles website and building inventory. I don't have enough of my own product ready to sell yet, because soap needs time to dehydrate to harden a bit before it's used, so I will be making soap to build my inventory. I have another website for my products that is outside of WA. It's called Petals & Pebbles (http://petalsandpebbles.com), and it's a store. I put that up just over a month ago, and before I found WA. I'm using the Shopify platform for my store because I'm familiar with it.
Thank you, Wealthy Affiliate community, for being simply AWESOME!
