Dare to Write
Hi guys, I have written a new About Me page just now. I have deleted previously About Me page because I feel it is not good.
I have pondered the solution to write correctly. I try to keep it short and simple. Also, I use google to measure every sentence I write.
I also try to learn other people's article.
Here is my new About Me page: http://howtolearnonlinemarketing.com/about-me
You are welcome to check it out.
I will write it better next time. Thanks.

I think I like Kim's (Kholmes) suggestion. English is so hard to learn much less write. Not even those who speak English can write well. How about if you wrote in your native language into a word program, translated it to English then cut and paste the translation into your site. That being said, I give you a LOT of credit for the work you've done so far.
I wonder if you add a translator plugin on your website and then write it in your own language if it would translate and make more sense that way. Just a thought, maybe someone on this thread might think this may work.
You may want to ask that question in another blog. Just made sense to me, not sure how it would work from edit mode to viewing mode though. I use the Bing translator for my website, for non English speaking visitors.:))
Loes gave you good advice, Jimmy. The English is awkward, too. I know what you want to say, but it needs to be gone over by a native-English speaker. I think you are brave for even trying to write in a language that is not your own, but it needs a good edit.
Don't be sorry! I think it takes a lot of guts to write in a language not your own. You will get better with practice. One of the hardest things to do is make it "sound right." You can get all the right words, but it can still be awkward and hard to understand. I think you have made a really good beginning!
First lesson...do NOT say 'sorry', you have not done anything to apologize for..... :) We all try to help each other here, but I do have a question...are you able to write your articles in your native language?
Yes, I can do write my articles in my own native language. I understand the articles that others people who have written. But, the problem is I can't express it very well. However, I am sure it can be better through some practices.
I am POSITIVE you shall greatly improve with pratice...I was going to suggest (for your own learning purposes) first write a 'rough draft' in your native language....then translate your written article (keep it in rough draft form) into English (for example, you could use https://translate.google.com/)....Once you have your translation, you will be able to see for yourself how it would be basically written in English! You can then 'tweak' it to read how YOU want it to....then you could publish it or whatever YOU choose....I know, it sounds like a long way to go about it, but it would give you a good 'feel' for the use of English....just a suggestion, of course....English is so very difficult because the same thing can be said so many different ways, the same word means so many different things....
A lot of people I work with are from various parts of this world.....it is something one of the people told me they did....English is not as 'structured' as other languages....
Hi Jimmy, your about you page isn't a story about you, but a story about how you found WA, and your trubbles before you found it, I would add a bit more "about you stuff" like at bit of a background, I have studied at... Which job did you quit ... My job experience are..
and a bit less about WA, you now have two paragraphs about joyning WA I would make that max one paragraph, but that is my personal opinion, greetings Loes

Keep going! Don't give up! I like in the beginning of your about me page that you were letting your fun personality shine through, I think that people will connect with you on that level and if you sprinkle more of that throughout your page they will begin to like and trust you. I wish you the best and applaud your huge efforts for tackling a new career and writing a foreign language all in one. Good job!! :)
Jill, thanks for your kind words, your encouragement brighten up my path. And I totally can’t thank you enough. Be blessed!
