progress update part 3
progress update pt3 well i joined 26 aug 2015 that is that is 9 days ago if my calculations are correct .look I'm no good at spelling no good with gramma how do you expect me to be able to remember how many days in each month well i think its about 9 days.so far as you guys know i built a site there are 9 pages not all publish i got about 5 published at the moment.But thats growing i jets wished there was more time in the day i hooked up to my site as many social networks as i could and got a further list I'm working with as i said in my earlier blogs. and i hooked up google analytics i always spell that one wrong but i think i got it right this time.and I'm addicted to checking it and up to yesterday i had 130 sessions not quit sure what a session is yet and 86 users 579 page views.with an average session duration and a 28 .4 bounce rate and a 66% new sessions .i do have a webmaster who looks after all my clients sites but he has nothing to do with my wa site
But i do get advice from him and if there is some thing i don't quit understand guys who i ask yes now ,He has been telling me that bounce rate is very important and he said it is very difficult for any one to get under 30% .Well guys bloody what i checked my stats this morning and my bounce rate was 28.4% i was like NOOOOO are you sure ,so you know what i did next oh yes time for a screen shot and sent it to him and this is what he sent back
just make sure you keep providing usefull info for your target audiance (divers).
doesn't have to be products or 'leads to sales' only, reviews of diving spots can also be good.
think it this way, a diver that comes to your site for free info (and finds the info he wants!), he'll come back when he needs more info. 1 day he needs to buy equipment... your free QUALITY info, not even sales/product related, is the bait.
you build your site for divers, not to sell products.
He is not into marketing he is a webmaster but never a truer word said i think he is spot on .That ball is getting easier to roll i just got to keep plugging on and just keep repeating what I'm doing day after day and make it a habit .They do say if you do the same thing same thing for 21 days it will become a habit then you don't think about it you just do it .As nike would say . I'm asking for 10 comments a day so i have to do 20 comment offers this way my site is being updated every day google likes this and the way wa works it will work for everyone if they JUST DO IT. i know most of my visitors are you guys but google don't know that so ssshhhhhhh .i will keep doing the same s--t every day my bounce rate will be good and thats because of you guys actually reading my posts its important if you are going to leave a comment stay on wa friends website for at least 5-6 mins leave the site open if you just jump on the site quick look and get off the bounce rate you leave will not be good for your fellow wa member so sit on the site for a bit of a look around and then go write the comment .well its working for me thanks guys . And i will always do it to any ones site I'm commenting on .Well for me thats a massive blog for me to do i hope you didn't get board of it

What can I say, it's been a long blog, lol...
Regarding your bounce rate, yessss, it's quite a formidable one.
Your website master is right, don't try to sell stuff to people, try to give them the info they need. They will bite the bait and get it when they're ready.
