My external monitor started blinking yesterday, taking up much of my weekend as I tried to resolve the issue. Fortunately, my laptop is functional, allowing me to access the online WA affiliate program. Despite the program's convenience, the strain on my eyes from the small laptop screen became noticeable.
Initially, I suspected a loose HDMI cable, but after checking and finding no improvement, I began worrying that the external monitor was malfunctioning. Seeking a solution, I visited Walmart and Target, where I purchased a new HDMI cable and an Acer monitor. However, the issues persisted.
On Sunday morning, I visited the eBay store where I bought my laptop. A young employee informed me that my HP laptop was three years old and that it was time to buy a new one. Following his advice, I called HP support and spent one and a half hours with technical assistance, but the problem persisted even after reinstalling the program file.
Frustrated, I visited another eBay store, Geek Square, for better service. Luckily, an experienced technician quickly identified a malfunction in the built-in HDMI and suggested connecting a USB with an HDMI cable as a workaround.
Finally, my external monitor is back to normal. What a weekend it has been!
