My Progress So Far - The Beginning of the End
Today I just realized that it has only been a month since I am back with WA family. I joined in July 2018, but I drifted away as life got better of me and so does with everything else.
In these four weeks that I am back, I felt like I was completing my degree all over again. Juggling in between my demanding full-time job, doing the regular chores, spending quality time with my hubby and more importantly spending at least 4-6 hours a day plus a day of my weekend of WA lessons. If you think this sounds familiar, then probably is.
I am so proud of what I have achieved here at WA so far. I learned so much in such a little time.
- I have built my website and played with images to be more appealing.
- I have finished Level 2 Lessons in no time.
- I have written four blogs I have never imagined I would be able to do.
- I am slowly progressing to Level 3 and moving along nicely.
- I have started Affiliate Bootcamp
-....and proud to say I was chosen as one of the participants of 2020 Super Affiliate Challenge!
What an accomplishment!
Now I think if I can accomplish these tasks in four weeks, it would probably work better in three months, six months or even years if I plan better and put more effort into it. I also realized that to set you up for success there are some sacrifices. It means letting go of small pleasures in life.
For example, in between my train rides and spare little time or lunches at work, I would replace my Netflix shows with Kyle's video or Jay's webinar.
Facebook which used to be my lunch playground is now replaced with the WA community. There are few questionable faces from my work colleagues on what am I currently doing, but I reckon they won't understand my world at a moment even if I explain it so I will just leave them hanging in there for now.
My Goal in the next Three to Six months
They said that is it is easy to achieve your goals if you break it down into bite-sized portions and this is precisely what I am doing in the next few months. I want to put aside these plans, so I have more direction on what I am aiming towards my goals and direction. I know that these goals might be different for everyone. Some people will say " Is that all ? " or " Good luck with that one ". The important thing is our commitment and dedication every day to achieve our own personalized goals.
My Three months' Pursuit :
- I should have already understood the whole concept or structure of Online Entrepreneurship by this time.
- I will be concentrating on improving my site, bring in new ideas, visuals, etc.
- I should have at least written 12- 15 blogs or posts on my site by this time.
- I would already have a better understanding of affiliate programs, how it works and how it can monetize my site.
- Get the ' cobwebs' out of my head about how things work in the online business world.
My Six Months' Race:
- Increased my blogs to at least two articles a week.
- Get noticed by google and should have at least have ranking by this time.
- Getting the importance of monetary value in my blog
-Getting the importance of what is working and what is not in my site
Competing in a Race
I have chosen a health and wellness sector which is a very competitive niche. I am a bit worried about this, but I remember my Dad used to say to me, he says '' if you are racing in a swimming competition, never look at others swimming around you or you will fall behind instead concentrate on what you are doing and your speed. Give your all and you will have more chances of winning ''. In this online business, it is easy to compare yourself to others. However, I come to realize that this is my journey and I will create my own path. My only competition is myself.
"Good is not Good when Better is Expected "
I grew up with this quote all my life. It is my Dad's favorite quote. I tell you, I can probably write a book called "Dad's quotes " or " Dad Says "from the lessons I learned from him. He was a wise man. Being a military officer, he pushed us to the limits and nothing was ever good enough!
Growing up, I was compelled to be the highest achiever all the time.
If I am #2 in class that is not good enough for him, if my sister wants to be a nurse, he wants her to be a doctor instead.
Don't get me wrong. I did not hate him (hate is probably a strong word, bless him in heaven) in fact I am genuinely grateful for what I become today because of him. If you are good, you have to achieve to be better if not aspire to be the best. To this day, I still live by his challenge whatever I do in life.
Speaking of challenge, I have my own share of fears when I got the invite from Kyle for the 2020 Super Affiliate Challenge but I am taking the plunge This is only the beginning of many challenges and opportunities to come. I want to reach my goals to my limit that is possible. If I plan I save time, then I achieve my goals.
I want to end my blog with John Lennon's saying :
" Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans '
If I focus more or plan ahead I might just achieve it. There is no shortcut.

Exceptionally well written Jimini,
I'm glad to hear that you appreciate your Dad's influence. It's tough being a Dad sometimes. As a Dad I feel that I need to make such a deep impression that my children will "hear" me when I am not around.
Because I cannot protect them when I am not with them. I only want the very best for them and I work hard everyday to get them what they need (and what they want). All I ask is that they work hard too, and so far they do.
