I'm self centered and think I don't need help. I'm also a slow learner when it comes to admitting my own faults and lack of abbility to follow others. Therefore I once again read just a little and went off on my own. Well most of you know how that worked for me. Once again I have to come crawling back and have to start over again. One thing I'm proud of is I didn't abandon ship and try some new program. I'm here and I want to stay here, so back to my studies and do my best to follow directions.

I dodged around here for several days before going to support to get help with moving my html website to WA and was not able to find anyone who could answer my question about moving it. Then one of our members suggested I do that and presto, it's done. What I'm trying to say is that if other members can't answer the question, do a support ticket. They are great about getting back to help you if you have a problem. Sometimes I just think I can do it by myself and don't want to bother people or I

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. I love this saying now but hated it when I first had an AA sponsor tell me that. I have since found it to be true not only emotionally, but physically. I'll be sober 30 years next month by the Grace of God, the AA program and the help of friends in AA. It took me the first five years to begin to realize that most of my troubles were of my own making. I was so smart when I first arrived in AA that I didn't need any help from them (or so I thought).
