When Things Stall And You Want To Go Full Speed
I know it’s Thursday Finally. Sunday is normally when I start to plan out my week. Normal plans, like. I’m going to get so many hours at work, and then get home and do at least one hour of work on my website. You know. The work that I actually enjoy, and planning to do full time.
Wake up Monday morning. Uh oh. Wife’s not feeling well. Ok. Stay in bed honey. Kids can stay home too. You’ll be fine tomorrow. Go to work, come home. Check on wife. Still not well. Feeling even worse. Go to the kitchen to make something for sick wife. Uh oh. Here comes oldest daughter. Dad I don’t feel well. Woah! You look sick. And you have fever.
Now with two sick. Gotta get to Daddy mode. Call in to work. Tell them hey. Too many sick people over here. Not gonna make it in tomorrow. So. Stay home the next day. And take care of wife and daughter.
Now it’s the next morning. Tuesday. At home taking care of wife and daughter, get a phone call from son’s school. We sorry to tell you, your son is not feeling well. Ok. I’ll pick him up. And I do.
And of course, I can’t go in to work Wednesday because I have a house with the people I love and taking care of them. Don’t forget other daughter has volleyball game. That night. Of. Gotta be there. And finally my wife is feeling good enough to get up and walk around.
Im almost done. Lol. So after all that. Finally make it back to work on Thursday.
Moral of the story. You can make plans all day. And that’s a god thing. Don’t get upset when they don’t go as planned. Just continue where you left off. I just thought maybe someone out there was thinking of giving up because things don’t go as planned. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don’t. No matter what. Don’t stop making plans and goals. I believe you will reach them, when you reach them.
Thanks for your ear today

Sounds like a very busy "unplanned" start to the week there Jason!
Plans are a great start, but we must plan (or not plan) for the unexpected!
I hope that the family are feeling better my friend and your "plans" for the weekend go uninterrupted!!
Well said, Jason! I only have tentative plans each day, because when each day comes there is always something! I prefer the surprises!

Wow... what a week you've had! I plan many things but there's always something, even something small, that changes to something bigger.
We can only do the best we can for that day. There's no point in getting stressed. I like how you've been in control of the situation.
I hope your entire family is on the mend. Great job on being a super husband and Dad.
Thank you for sharing... helps me too. Have a blessed weekend, Jason!
