How Important is it to back up your emails in an autoresponder?

If you are capturing emails in Get Response or in any autoresponder then it is very important to back up your list about 1 week depending on the number of emails you getting every day. Myself, I backup my emails lists every other day.

Why is this important, because if you have a few emails on your list and you send a newsletter out to your list and you get some unsubscribes to your list. The autoresponder see this a very negative and may shut you down without warning. Once your autoresponder has shut you down because they think you are spam even if you are not then it's a very good idea to back up your list.

Here is an example of how much money you could lose. If you paid to build your list at .65 per lead and you have 1,000 people on your list. The cost is $650 dollars but this does not include all the clicks you paid for that no one signed up for your lists. So, you might see my point even a small list can cost lots of money to build.

So make it a rule and backup your emails lists on every autoresponder.

Since I can't post my YourTube video here. Here are the steps for Get Response.

1. Log into you Get Response account
   
2. Click on Contacts
3. Show all contacts (This will combine all your leads for every list into one report)
4. On the right-hand side of the page you see "3 dots" click on them and you see in the drop down "Export"
5. Name the Export something like "GR 6-26-18" ... I use GR for Get Response because I have more than one list with different autoresponder.
6. Then click download to your hard drive.
7. All done.

It pretties simple to do and it will save you tons of money if you every get shut down.
