The Key to Inspiration and Motivation

In the past few days I've been working up a storm on various projects and I think I've found a key to staying inspired and motivated, despite not seeing instant results.
By nature I'm a procrastinator and that's horrible for a blogger and writer! So these past few days have been very interesting.
First of all, getting motivated is very difficult for most people. (even the celebrities we admire and incredibly successful people) But it is possible to get things done anad stay motivated! My first discovery was sleep. Getting enough sleep is so incredibly important. Waking up early is also an important aspect. When you wake up, get dressed and ready and do something that makes you happy. Brew some coffee, have a nice breakfast, watch one episode of your favourite show. Only one episode! And then do the thing you're most excited to do!
My second discovery was that there is really no secret. I know it doesn't really make sense but it will in a second! There is no secret to staying motivated or inspired. And if there was a secret it would be this: no matter how much you like or dislike the task you just have to do it. There is no getting around it. The key to staying motivated is just to do whatever you have to. Make a to do list and cross off everything and that will motivate you to do again the next day.

Yep. "Get 'er done," as my "adopted" sister says, Perhaps you should stress making a list each day. I do that -- and it is so satisfying when I can cross something off the list! Thanks for a good post.
