The Laughing River
We seem to know and not do!
We seem to be OK believing we should not know!
We seem to pride in the fact that we know all!
We seem to know what we should never know!
We seem to not know what we should know!
But there is a river that "caps up" the whole of our naughtiness!
- It laughs as us what we look lost in the ignorant mutiny!
- It depeans it's grin at how we plow around lazily in staggering abandon
- It pokes knowing brows at our foolish declaration of "doing what 'm told"
- It chokes at our fogged identity of "raining knows"
- Then it smirks at our misplaced understanding
- The heavens turn at its declare, "you don't know that too?"
If there is anything that turns the laughing river on, it's our ease at not knowing
And knowing wrong..
I was once in this category of the Unknowing
I was almost tumbled over by a gaseous hunt for "nothing in particular", when what I should know was right at my fingertips. I would toss and turn because nothing ever seemed to work out right.
Because I knew what to do and never moved a finger
Because I thought " there's no need in knowing about that"
Then I reasoned I knew just about it all..
I even had the audacity to cherish and hug tight the wrong info
You should think I've gone bonkers, I had no faintest idea about what I should normally have known!!!!
There's a force that drives the world!
Inscribed in the minds and success story of those who have gotten it's nitty-gritty...
Knowledge is not the ability to know.
It is the inherent power to effortlessly inspire profitable results with what we know!
Which are the right things
Which are the "getty" things
And to know again and again...
Till the unknowing themselves pride in our knowing!
What do you know to make others want to know?
