Beware of spam bots!
Well the spammers/spam bots have been diligently working on my site the past couple of days...yesterday I deleted 4 spam comments, and woke up this morning to 14, yes 14! (ARRGHH) of these lovely comments (NOT) from spammers!
My posts and site have been ranking really well on Google so I certainly hope these people aren't able to affect that :( Sorry, just had to vent...so frustrating that these losers want to try and piggyback off someone else's hard work and efforts. And even more frustrating is that they will continue.
I wanted to share this and get the word out to watch your sites so you can delete these comments ASAP. The following is what I've been getting:
- Mostly long comments in Asian languages that are embedded with links to things like Microsoft office and other software programs.
- A couple that simply read: "Hello and goodbye"
I immediately mark them as spam and then empty the spam folder. Spammers need to go bye bye from the internet world....just sayin.

Just as long as you do not reply or approve them they will never hurt your site you are lucky i once pissed a guru off with a review of his scam and i was bombarded with hundreds per day. Now that was fun. Good luck

Thanks Tommy...wow so I guess I shouldn't complain, huh?! That must have been a royal pain in the you know what. I'll keep that in mind once I start my business site...'do not p off a guru' geez! Good to know that it can't hurt my site as long as I continue to delete :)
