Beware of spam bots!

Well the spammers/spam bots have been diligently working on my site the past couple of days...yesterday I deleted 4 spam comments, and woke up this morning to 14, yes 14! (ARRGHH) of these lovely comments (NOT) from spammers!
My posts and site have been ranking really well on Google so I certainly hope these people aren't able to affect that :( Sorry, just had to vent...so frustrating that these losers want to try and piggyback off someone else's hard work and efforts. And even more frustrating is that they will continue.
I wanted to share this and get the word out to watch your sites so you can delete these comments ASAP. The following is what I've been getting:
- Mostly long comments in Asian languages that are embedded with links to things like Microsoft office and other software programs.
- A couple that simply read: "Hello and goodbye"
I immediately mark them as spam and then empty the spam folder. Spammers need to go bye bye from the internet world....just sayin.
