I had faith I would be able to make some money but wab not able to. I even was writing for iwriter, odesk, and 3 others. I still will keep coming to the free site. Amazon is no
Don't feel bad. I had to do this myself, in my case it lasted nearly a year. Sometimes family pressures, health or whatever just have to come first. Get everything settled, bills caught up, work out a budget. Then come on back. We'll be here :)
Thank you so much for your concern. I will miss trying to figure this all out with you all. Its shame that i won't even have my website to do what ever i can with it. I worked so hard on it everyday and night only for it to be deleted like it meant nothing. I thought we still had 2 free sites but i guess that's not the case.

To cancel your membership, go to "Account Settings" on the left sidebar all the way down just before the logout button. Find your subscription settings and click manage membership premium monthly. Then on the upgrade membership window, scroll all the way down to "Stop Billing & Close Account". You may want to contact Kyle or Carson about your concern.

Thats about where I am at Scottdog. Been Here about 2 weeks and still feeling my way around the WA site. Progressed to lesson 4 and already had to change my niche. I do love the environment, and I am here for the long haul.
I am reminded of Rome when I see these kind of comments. In this world of instant gratification, we need to be reminded that Rome was not built in a day ... it takes consistent effort and time to change things.

But I here to learn a skill to change my current working routine in the future. I want to able to work from home within a couple of years. Sorry to hear about your hard times. It took me 8 months of constant promoting and build content on my WA promoting site before I saw any profit. This is a learning process just like in learning a trade in higher education you do not get your degree in one month of class's. good luck

I would think that you can find that out by looking at your profile page. I'm in the same situation, by the way. I'll miss the parts of WA I won't be able to access, BUT consider that a temporary situation, as I hope you will, too.

yes emma, I even tried to cancel the cruise that was totally paid for before I got laid off. Thank goodness the food will be free forget souvenirs. lol and they would have charged me 400 dollars To cancel or move the date.

Really sorry to hear that you need to stop your premium membership. I am new here and don't know what happens with your website when you cancel your membership, if you can keep them or not. At least you should be able to back up and download your Wordpress site/s to your computer, so that at some point in the future you'll be able to upload and recreate them again. Wishing you all the best.

If you want to change the background behind the text on your Twenty Twelve theme.
You need to edit the colour code in the CSS file.
This should only be done if you know what you're doing.
Starting at line 523 and ending at line 528 you'll find this code:

padding: 0 1.714285714rem;
background-color: #fff;
}
You need to change the colour code FFF to a different colour code.
I am just curious how far are you into WA training courses either starter of Bootcamp? The reason why I ask is that all that you are asking is explained in these courses, font get me wrong we are more then happy to help you or anyone else that needs it or does not understand something.

Picture you go to a store to by printer paper and you don't want white you want say blue paper to print your black letters on. lol I don't know how else to say it

Oh you can do this by going into appearance> background and change the color of the background there. It is usually a good idea to have a white background with black or grey text. Makes for a better reader experience on your site.
In your wordpress editor in the second row of the kitchen sink click on the A this will let you pick different colors for the text. Here is a screenshot for you. http://d.pr/i/ELYa

Follow Paul Deans Advice and you will not have to change themes! Just add a plug in "Custom Post Background"
wow i wish i knew to look for this before i did my website. if i change themes do i lose everything i'v done so far?

Hey all you great techies, hope you know more than I do on this one, she is trying to change the color of the pages, not the background color. I googled it and found an article that said it could not be done, unless you purchased the CSS pack, But then you needed to know CSS to install it!
You don't need to purchase anything to edit the appearance of any wordpress site, most appearance changes can be made by editing the CSS file.
Hey jersigypci, if you go to your admin dashboard page then go down to "Appearance" click on that and then go to "Customize" and click that then go to "Colors" and click that and select your background color!! Hope this answers what you are asking!! :)
