Online Entrepreneur Certified!

Friends and colleagues, I did it! I have officially completed the Online Entrepreneur Certification Course.

I'd like to say that I'm taking a day off to celebrate, but I'll be spending the day packing up for a move to a new home. The work is never done, I suppose. Whether it be at home, or working on my niche blog.

Completing this course is much more than a simple accomplishment. It has taken me two months to complete. Two months of working every single day. And for all that, I have a blog with over 30 posts that brings in about 100 visiters per day and a total of $15 in revenue from media.net (an ad platform that I highly recommend over adwords).

I've learned a lot along the way. My head is swimming with new knowledge and ideas. It's so easy to get side tracked and lose focus on my core niche, but I've managed to focus and take action everyday.

The lessons here are a great start, but I've also learned from others here and elsewhere. There's nothing wrong with Googling a concept to get a better idea of it. SEO is a good example.

The key is not to let yourself get completely distracted by someone else's paid product and to stay focused on your lessons here. Get the information you need and keep pressing on your project here.

Same goes for social media. Post, reply to comments, spend a few minutes engaging with other people's posts, then move on. It's very easy to get sucked into the social media realm. It's a double edged sword where it's good to network and engage, but also a time-suck as I like to call it.

I plan to continue posting to my niche site 2-3 times per week to keep it growing. When I'm not there, I will be going through the Affiliate Boot Camp and launching Blog Marketing School.
