I Want It All, But I Don't Want To Work For It

Gooood Morning WA Family!!

Do you want free money that you don't have to work to receive? No investment, no effort? Yes, I know...that does not exist in the real world. So, why are so many looking for just that?

I am an admin for a Facebook group for Virtual Workers. This group is for people that are looking for JOBS, not opportunities. And yes, I do virtual work in my spare time that helps pay for my premium membership here (win,win). But I digress... I get a lot of members who join only to spam the page with their latest get-rich-quick schemes. You know the ones..."Do you have a phone? Want to get paid 10 grand this month for using an app?" Yeah, most people here would never fall for that I'm sure, but you would be amazed at how many responses I see every day to links like that. The absolute worst ones, the ones where people are required to give out their banking information, I try to kick them from the group as soon as I see it. Unfortunately, someone usually falls for it and loses their money and gets their bank account frozen.

The posts that truly grinds my gears are the ones like this..." I'm looking for a job that will pay me (insert ridiculous amount) by Friday. No selling, no investment, and I need to do it from my phone." Now, me being the person that I am, I tell them that unless it involves hard work, a lot of luck, a big investment, or a winning lottery ticket, it just won't happen. Of course, they do not want to hear that in order to succeed, you have to work. They want something handed to them on a silver platter.

In any entrepreneurial opportunity, there is risk. The thing is, if you cannot sell yourself, you will not sell anyone else. You HAVE to believe in what you are doing, you HAVE to have passion, work ethic, and an undeniable hunger to succeed. Occasionally I come across someone who I see as having the "hunger". Those are the type of people that I relate to, and I can connect with them on a personal level. Those are the type of people that I know would appreciate and benefit from a group like we have here.

In closing, I would just like to say that it is truly exciting to be a member of Wealthy Affiliate. To be able to connect and communicate with so many like-minded individuals is truly a blessing. It is empowering to know that I have everything I need at my fingertips and, along with my desire to succeed, I can reach my goals.
