I've always thought that Friends are the Family you choose for yourself. So, what is the true meaning of Friendship.
One of my favorite quotes about Friendship is by Winnie the Pooh:
Winnie the Pooh was always so wise when it came to such things. To have great friends, you must first be one to others.
My mother always taught me to "treat other people the way you would like to be treated." So I always try to go the extra mile for my friends. To be there for them in times of sadness or tragedy as well as in times of great joy.

Friendships can sometimes be fleeting but, nevertheless, fulfilling. Though true friendship most often lasts for a lifetime. So my other favorite quote on this subject, author unknown, is:
What has all this to do with Wealthy Affiliate, you may well be wondering. Well, despite the tyranny of distance that separates most of us, since my arrival at WA just six months ago, I have felt the warmth of friendship across the miles.
