Starting Over
After some encouragment from coach Eric Cantu, I decided to go ahead and make a short post to document the beginning of my journey with WA. 2022 has been a year of major change in my world. In January of 2022, my husband and I sold our home in NC (where I have lived ALL of my 56 years except for the 8 years my husband served in the USAF) and moved to the beautiful mountains of NE Alabama where my son, my daughter-in-law and her mom, and my three beautiful grandchildren live on 50ish acres. We left a 15+ year successful home improvement business in our hometown where we knew lots of people and had a great reputation to move to a brand new place where we live in relative obscurity at the moment. Starting over is not for the faint of heart! But in the words of the great and powerful Chris Stapleton, "The road rolls out like a welcome mat...." For many, many years, we have longed to be a part of a homestead, and life has provided us with the opportunity to do so. Despite our fears (and maybe our good sense), we seized upon this opportunity and are finding our way in this new life. My husband is starting his business over in a new place from scratch, and I have been looking for a way to use our new homesteading experiences to produce income as opposed to seeking outside employment away from the land. After scouring countless income opportunities, I discovered WA through one of Eric's blog posts. Wealthy Affiliate is so very different from the other multitude of affiliate marketing programs out there, and I am happy to be along for the ride. I am just beginning the lessons, narrowing down my niche, seeking (and receiving) lots of help from the community, and hopeful about the future!

WOW, I love your passion for thinking outside the box for sure. Starting over is as you say not for the faint of heart, this is going to be a new journey for all of us here. I too have been down that unfortune road of dred, trying to find the right system for having an online business. This place is everything I've been looking for and a whole lot more. It's given me for the first time," Hope" as I hope it has for you too, this place is to me fun. You're not pushed into learning everyone has their own learning process that they live by and that's ok you're not in a race to see who can get there first. Sorry for the rambling on I seem to do that from time to time ,,I'm still learning my self and where your at in the training I can say stay the course it keeps getting funner every lesson for every level gets you closer to your goals ,, its funny I read that same quote just 3 months ago. Never stop asking questions ever because the learning process never stops EVER, have a fantastic day, so glad your here!!
