Hard At Work
When I’m not writing ✍️, I’m escorting oversize loads to help truck drivers get to there destination safely. Recently, I escorted for TBS Transportation. They were a team of five drivers who stick together and never leaves ones stranded. In this photo, I was directing traffic from right lane to far left lane while a tire on one of the 18-wheelers could be changed without anyone getting hurt. Their spirituality was strong among them. One of there many quality’s as a team. This group could have a tire changed in less than 15 minutes and in 30 minutes change a bearing in a flash. Then back on the road again praying for no more blow outs. I promise they don’t get enjoyment out of holding up the traffic. That’s why there team effort gets the job done so quickly.
Their respect for the highway comes with great appreciation toward other drivers who respect it as well. But for those drivers out there who have no respect for the rules of the highway need to be removed or shown how to respect other drivers of all kind. So the next time you get in your car, truck, motorcycle, dump truck, tractor, or 18-wheeler, please show respect for the rules of the highway
My own personal respect for the highway outside of the rules for driving go a bit deeper. The folks who build the highways we do freely roam on take a lot of man power, time and precision to build. For example, highways build through the mountains are not easy to do. Just imagine removing boulders and cutting out paths within a mountain just to give us away to get from point A to point B. So, once again, I ask, never fuss about the time it’s taking workers to build the highway for their business isn’t anymore prone to not having issues occur than any others. Be nice to them in passing.
Thanks from an Escort Pilot Driver
