Walking Back In: An Update from Me and the Pack

Hey everyone, it’s been a while.

Life threw a heavy punch this year, and our household has been working through it one day at a time. We lost Mia on Halloween after her long fight with breast cancer, and as you can imagine, that shifted everything for us. Anyone who’s ever loved a German Shepherd knows that when they go, they take a piece of the house with them.

Because of that, I stepped away for a bit.
Not because I wanted to — but because I needed to.

Before anything else, I want to thank everyone who reached out in the past couple of months — those who sent good wishes, support, and messages of kindness while Mia was fighting. You know who you are, and I’m grateful more than I can express here.

I also want to sincerely apologize if you sent me a message and never received a reply. It wasn’t intentional. Life just took over, and I ran out of patience to keep up. Thank you for your patience, and for understanding why I disappeared for a while.

But I’m back now.
Rebuilding. Refocusing and resetting my direction.
And honestly, it feels good to be walking back into this community.

I’ve said it before, and it’s worth repeating: WA has never been just another online platform.
It’s people from all over the world choosing to build something meaningful. The positivity here is genuine. The support is real. And coming back into that energy means a lot right now.
