Best Case for the Worst-Case
"Best case for the worst-case"
The cancer hasn’t spread. Relief. But the fight’s not over.
That’s where grit comes in — the same grit driving my WA journey. Different battles. Same drive.
Mia’s scan results are the kind of news you hold in both hands, unsure whether to cry or smile.
The cancer hasn’t spread. It’s still contained in her mammary glands.
Waiting for the oncologist at Boundary Bay — calm, patient, and ready for answers.
That means surgery can buy her more healthy time — a win in the middle of a fight we never asked for.
Photo taken August 2025, while we await Mia’s next surgery — still smiling, still strong.
And that’s where this ties into building a business here at WA.
Because whether it’s cancer or content creation, the blueprint for progress is the same:
- Adapt when the situation changes. Plans shift with every vet update, just like strategies shift with every Google update or market change.
- Stay consistent over time. Mia’s recovery will depend on daily care — just like a site’s growth depends on steady, deliberate work.
- Lean on your support system. We have vets, techs, and loved ones in her corner; I have the WA community, mentors, and fellow members in mine.
In both cases, success isn’t about avoiding the hard parts — it’s about learning to move through them without quitting. Mia’s next step is surgery. Mine is the next piece of training and execution here at WA.
Different battles. Same mindset.
How about you?
What’s one challenge — inside or outside WA — that’s taught you a lesson you’ve carried into your business journey?
Thanks for reading, for caring, and for being part of a community that proves we don’t have to do any of this alone.
