A morning routine, how about a refresh routine

Are there days when you feel like you don't accomplish diddly poo.

Are there days you wake up not ready to face the world because you're stuck?

Are there days when you rush to get out the door, barely enough time to choke down a breakfast item and drink a coffee

Are there days you wake up and you know you need to start that next lesson, blog or ....

Why is this?

In doing some research, I have found that setting 10-15 minutes for yourself in the morning helps start the day off right.

It fends off the stuff the world throws at you.

It sets your day up so you can accomplish that task, blog, post, review, or whatever you set up to complete for the day.

Image everyday feeling like you accomplished whatever you set up for yourself. And it started with 10-15 minutes of your 24 hours or 1440 minutes of each day.

That's 1425 minutes left to accomplish whatever you planned. And feeling good that you did what you said you were going to do.

What else does it do?

It creates a good habit.

It's creates a mindset that you can accomplish the stuff you need to do.

It takes the pressure off you.

It one less thing to think about.

It allows your mind to become tasked orientated.

Yes 10-15 minutes.

Try it

Don't overthink this.

Wake up 15 minutes earlier tomorrow, and write down things you want to accomplish.

You'll be surprised how your mind will begin to figure out where the time will come from and how to accomplish your plans.

I am serious.

It may take a day or two or three but if you feel stuck or are having trouble moving forward

It only takes 10-15 minutes to plan for the day.

Sound silly right, but trust me, I have been taking 10 minutes out of my day for myself to accomplish what I need to complete.

It works.

It helps propel you.

It will give you a boost of energy.

It's all about doing the little stuff that makes the biggest impact.

Quit feeling overwhelmed.

Quit feeling stuck.

Take some action.

And try it.

You can accomplish it if you plan it. Plan it develops small success. When your plan is a success, that feeling helps you grow and become better you.

I agree Jeff. We do need to plan. Your post was a reminder to myself to put my plan down on paper instead of keeping it in my head all the time. For me, tasks need to be staring me right in the face, because it keeps me from wandering off my target.
Thank you for your post!

It helps. There are days that I seem to get nothing accomplished without setting some tasks to accomplish. The days I do set some tasks my mind thinks about them and when they are complete there is a sense of completion.

Yes we do have to plan. I always start my day with a coffee and just time to think the days agenda. I need to put it on paper to stay focused. Great idea and yet so simple.

This is an excellent idea. Thanks, Jeff.

Thank you, have a great day!

Agree, plan for success. Thanks, Jeff.

Planning has help tremendously!

Good counsel Jeff. Hope you don't mind if I suggest that one might even do the 15 minutes the night before. A time of meditation and devotion can also help. Keep those good thoughts coming.

Have not try that yet, that's a great idea! Thanks
