6 Month Progress
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share with you my 6 month progress so far.
I've reached 129 bucks in commissions, and sold 4.7K worth of stuff in revenue.
I know that the commissions are low on Amazon, so that's why you'll need to promote products above 90 to 100 dollar range.
Then a few days later got a few more sales, and hit 133 dollars in commissions.
So if you're doing Amazon Associates, aim for products that are expensive.
SInce the commissions are low, then traffic will be the name of the game.
I never really focused on social media marketing and just left it to good ol SEO and organic traffic from the search engines.
If you're starting out, just aim to write quality post and focus on getting traffic.
Thanks for reading, I'll keep posting more updates for you to check out!
Jose

Wow you're doing great man. I barely have just as much as you from Amazon after a year, but it isn't my primary affiliate program due to its low commissions. Keep it up man!
Very encouraging results, considering that you've been here for only six months. Thanks for sharing, this just shows that consistency is the key.
Wishing you much success along the way, Jose.
Thank you Alysanna. I totally agree with you. Consistency is very key. I wish you more financial success!
Thank you for sharing your results, Jose
This kind of income reports is really impressive.
Have you built this site using the OEC training?
What kind of posts are you writing?-info, individual
or best of reviews?
How many total articles you have now and how
many articles you are publishing per week?
Are you using jaaxy or any external keyword tool?
Also, have you done any link building?
With niche sites, the growth is always geometric,
hope your site will reach $100/month soon.
Hope you will keep us updated.
Thank you, Jose :)
Thank you Midhun. The training was all from here.
Ive been doing internal and external link building. I link to sites that show helpful resources my readers.
I try to write everyday even when I don't feel like it lol.
My posts are 85% individual reviews with a few best posts and how to’s
I understand internal linking.
By external link building, do you mean
building backlinks or just linking out to
other sites?
Do you think that by doing more "best of"
posts you will make more commissions?
I am saying this, because another WA member
Dylan got great results by writing "best of" posts.
Half of his blog posts are "best of".
His saying doing "best of" will get more traffic than
individual reviews, as best of targets atleast 10 or more
products.
I just link out. And I link internally as well. I have at least 4 internal and 4 external links total
Yes, Ive read his strategy.
I do have a few best posts, but my plan is to write a lot of individual reviews linking them back to best posts and vice versa. And just continually write individual reviews everyday. I just want to see what happens.
Ok, I understand now.
I thought you were doing "link building",
which is not taught here in WA.
Wow that's amazing progress after 6 months! Thanks for sharing the graphs, I love that you are transparent like this with the WA community. How many posts does your blog have now? Keep up the great work!
Great going Jose, once you hit 100 clicks to Amazon a day you will notice am upturn is sales and fees.
A conversion rate of 4% is pretty good but look at your CTA and see how you can make that better, I have noticed that a red button works better than green or blue on my niche.
Thank you Tommo. Wow really?
Yep, Im using large red buttons to link to Amazon.
Are you getting 100 clicks per day? That would be awesome!
