This past week I completed all nine of my $1/day Facebook ads and finally moved from “testing if ads work” to actually understanding who responds, what messages land, and which niches bring the right kind of visitor into Wealthy Affiliate.

Instead of writing the full breakdown twice, I’ve posted a complete visual recap on my website — including comparisons between all nine campaigns, CPC trends, reach, Analytics data, and the first confirmed join tied directly to one of the Week 7 ads.

Here’s the short version of what Week 7 taught me:

1. Lifestyle targeting beats generic messaging

Whenever the ad angle spoke directly to a real identity such as eco-living, pet owners, yoga/wellness fans, DIY creators, finance learners, digital nomads ... the CPC dropped, the CTR increased, and the comments made more sense.
People don’t wake up wanting “affiliate marketing.” They wake up thinking about their life.

2. CPC stayed consistently low across multiple niches

Most of the ads landed between $0.01–$0.04 CPC, with two campaigns hitting more than 100,000 views each on a very small budget.
The ads with the clearest emotional hook consistently performed best.

3. Google Analytics confirmed where the real readers came from

The traffic patterns didn’t match my assumptions at all.
The Philippines led the readership this week, followed by the US and Canada. India also showed strong interest among men 25–34 who already follow digital-skills content.

A good reminder: the audience you think you’ll get is not always the one that shows up first.

4. The system is officially working

Inside my WA stats, one of my ads now shows a confirmed join under the data1 tag.
It’s not the volume that matters at this stage but it’s the proof of connection.
One ad → one click → one join → one clean data point I can track and scale.

5. Image Studio changed how I build creatives

Week 7 also lined up with the launch of Image Studio, which I’m now using to make consistent, branded ad images and thumbnails directly inside Wealthy Affiliate.
Much faster workflow and it keeps everything in one ecosystem.

Instead of crowding the WA editor with long tables and charts, I shared the entire breakdown here:

You are welcome!

Jeremy,

This was a sharp, disciplined breakdown. What you showed here is exactly what most people miss when they talk about “running ads.” You did the work of isolating identities, tagging every campaign, and then letting real data override assumptions. That is how you build something you can scale instead of something you guess at.

Your results make one thing clear. Identity consistently beats broad promises. People reacted because you spoke to who they already are, not because you tried to sell them a shortcut. The CPC numbers and reach confirm that, but the part that matters most is the clean referral tied to a single ad with a single data point. That is the signal everyone in Bootcamp needs to understand.

The Analytics patterns were just as telling. The actual audience did not match the expected audience, and you did not fight the data. You adapted. That is the difference between real marketing and wishful thinking.

Also, the way you integrated Image Studio into your workflow is the right move. Keeping your creative process inside one ecosystem removes friction and keeps your branding consistent. That matters more than people think.

Thank you for laying out the full results in a way that others can study and learn from. It gives the rest of us something concrete to build on when we reach the ad phase.

A very important lesson here JD, you have hit every aspect of reading my article and noticing the one key feature I placed within — image studio!

Thanks for the short update, Jeremy. I'm still testing the ads as I have also started to implement the lessons later than most. The first 2 ads had many clicks with zero engagement or signups. I either paused or eliminated them. A new ad is now running and I'll measure its results a few days from now.

1

Im noticing John, wait at LEAST 2-3 days for TRUE results before you make ANY decisions on ADS... That's since this week 7 post and Current test data!

1

True. Those ads have been there for about 23 days. And the new ad has now received a comment from a stranger. Let's see how it goes. Thanks for the advice. Even the ad you commented on is paused because it has a spelling error Kyle noticed.
