Google Indexed My Site.Yet Again!
I haven't given up at all on my first niche site. However I chose to start another one about something I am passionate about, and can update regularly. I'm still ironing out all the details and getting things ready, because I want to hit the ground running!
It's funny, I constantly see people asking how long it will take before their site is indexed in google, and I always answer with something like this "It could take up to a week, but how much content and interaction you have plays a key role. The more content you put out the faster google will find your site."
However, with this site that wasn't the case. I bought my new domain last Thursday (1/05/2017). I installed a WP theme and changed the site title on Sunday (1/07/2017). I literally haven't done anything else with the site and I got an e-mail last night saying Google has found my site! Just one week from buying the domain with absolutely zero content on the site.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I was pleasantly surprised! Even though I have no content that will rank anyway....lol. However, now I don't know how to answer someone who wants to know when Google will index their site. I guess whenever Google feels like it. The important thing is, it WILL happen so your time is still best spent focusing on quality content!!
Anyways I just wanted to share my excitement with everyone, and express my gratitude for such an awesome community and platform. Two months ago I didn't even know what it meant to be Google indexed, now I have two indexed sites, and one that I think is on the brink of finally making a sale (items ordered but not shipped).
