WA BootCamp Website is Indexed!
HMMM.....
My recent website created for the WA BootCamp has just been reported as indexed. I have been listening to Jays' past video's, so I now know that being indexed is not the same as being ranked. But I am not 100% sure what it does mean. That is why I say "hmmm". I read about ranking from others, but I have not figured out how to check my ranking. I am pretty sure it is too early for that. I will just keep researching here at WA, and I will eventually find it. I am definitely not going to worry about it. It will all occur as it should!

Your question got me thinking and I googled Google for the phrase, Is there a tool to use for checking page ranking for my website? Google came back with a bunch of services to check page ranking. One I used was www.SERPS.com which is a free service for Google and Bing/Yahoo. The results for my website www.howtomakemoneyinternetmarketing.com were very different from those I got at Jaaxy.
So yes there are a plethora of tools to use to check page rank including Jaaxy. Now, though, I'm confused on which tools provide valid information on which to base website and niche development. Jaaxy gave me about 4,788 monthly searches for another website domain I have called How To Make Money For Free. SERPS showed only 170 monthly page visits, a big difference.
I would be very curious what other members rely on to determine which service is most accurate to determine page rank.
What do you think?

Indexed means your website is "registered" with Google which indicates that the Google search engine will start "indexing" your content. Being ranked is when a search phrase is entered in the Google search bar (or Bing/Yahoo) and your website is hopefully seen on the first page. For instance, if you enter the search phrase, How To Make Money Internet Marketing, in the search bar, you will see my website howtomakemoneyinternetmarketing.com on the first page. It has "page rank". Jay Neill has a webinar called 21 Minute Ranking Method that I highly recommend. I have gone through it four times and that is how I hot my website ranked on Google.

Thanks for the info. I have watched Jays' 21 Minute video, but I can watch it again. I think my confusion results from the use of a tool. Is there a "tool" (free!) where I can easily check ranking, or is this not necessary?
At this point, it is really curiosity, it will not make a difference in what I am or will be doing. I'm probably making to big a deal out of this.
Indexing means that your web site is now known by google. The world now knows you exist! The Google web crawler will return to your site over tume and scan for new content.
Keep on reading, writing and publishing and your site should move up in popularity compared to others using the same keywords. That's basically what ranking is. How useful (as determined by Google) is your site compared to others?
