I am Learning So Much, Even with the Renovations

I had been slowly moving towards retirement. I run my own business, so I am gradually passing it on to my daughter so she can take over. I found that I was gaining more and more time to myself. I used to call this free time, as it was time that I had been “freed” from the regular work day. That “time” was coveted, and sought after, because there was a sense of “getting away with something”.

Retirement time is not like that.

Well, I should clarify that statement. At first it the thoughts of doing nothing is pleasing. But after about 2 months it started to get old.

With all my plans regarding retirement, I ended up doing a whole lot of nothing.

I decided that this was not the direction I wanted to take and I needed to make some changes. I started to read. I read so many books that I had piled up, that I started to dream about the characters. Uber reading was not the answer.

Next, I decided to look into finding something I could do online (when I was not reading…). I banged around on the internet, wasted quite a bit of money, and by fluke I found WA. I liked the initial free portion. I had basically set out to prove it was as scammy as all the over crap I had been seeing.

Turns out it was/is not.

I am pleased that I can work at my own pace. I am pleased that it offers me a way to immerse myself in new learning that is beneficial.

I get hung up on some of the technical stuff, but I have managed.

We are in the middle of renovations. Anyone who has lived thru that will attest to the noise, dust and distraction. But working on WA allows me to ignore most of it.

I am curious as to where WA will take me from here.

I will share when I have any earns.
