Appreciating the Power of Jaaxy!

As a general rule...I'm cheap...I mean REALLY cheap! :)

(Insert favorite "cheap" joke HERE)...U Talkin' 'Bout Me?!?! Yes, of course you are. lol

But, uncharacteristically...I do have Jaaxy and I use it just about every single day.

Carla says I just like the pretty red, yellow and green "lights"...it is pretty cool!

But, recently, I am reminded of how powerful a tool it can be. Especially for finding high powered domain names. Within the last week, I was able to find a domain for another member which will definitely rank very quickly with an average of between 25,000-30,000 hits per month!

She snapped that one up in a hurry! Smart lady...great ".coms" are not that easy to find, but Jaaxy actually makes it fun to search!

Yesterday, I found another one (these are members who had chosen a niche, but were having challenges with finding domains)and although it is a "seasonal" domain name, based on current activity and past history of like domains, this one should easily get 50,000 hits per month on average, perhaps as high as six-figures or more when the right season kicks in!

Hopefully, they will be wise also and take advantage of the opportunity.

Anyway, having Jaaxy hooked directly into a domain search and Site Domains was a brilliant idea...and, if a person were so inclined, they really could build site after site, or even flip domains and do quite well!

I personally think Jaaxy is well worth it!

If you have never tried Jaaxy, then you really should use the 30 free searches and check it out.

As always, I'm following you all the way to success!

Hi ,
I used my 30 free searches in the beginning when I was totally clueles..
Now I can see jaaxy is a full featured keytool but for keyword searching what's wrong with using the WA key tool ?

Does jaaxy find low competition domain names pre loaded with traffic ?

I also wasn't aware were allowed to promote jaaxy within WA to other members ?

Cheers
Dan

1. There is nothing wrong with the WA tool...it is better than manually searching everything out for yourself from scratch, but not nearly as useful as Jaaxy in my opinion.

2. When you say "pre-loaded" if you mean you will automatically rank for that traffic no matter what...no...it is never that easy, but following the WA lessons with a powerful keyword website will get you ranked much quicker than a branded name, which you must build up in the search engines from zero traffic.

3. Take yourself for example...you used your 30 free searches...that means that no one can promote Jaaxy to you and make a dime, even if they wanted to.

Jaaxy is pretty heavily promoted to new members automatically, so if somehow you missed all of that and you never did try it out with the 30 free searches, and then you read this and decided you wanted to try it...who should get affiliate credit? I ask you?

Now, having said that...members obviously shouldn't game the program by exchanging Jaaxy affiliate links everywhere...and, because virtually nobody gets past a week here without having already signed up, that just isn't going to be a problem.

Hey,
I chose my name not based on a keyword. Does this mean my ranking power is lower & will take much longer ? Ive been under the impression my content keywords in my posts will get me rankings?

By preloaded I meant will jaaxy results show high traffic potential or actual current traffic for the keyword domain name / Dot com the tool spits out ?

Oh for sure, that makes perfect sense for new members who haven't yet found jaaaxy & of course the referrer should get the affiliate credit :)
But how would you get the credit if theres no link in your blog post?

1. Both of my initial websites are also branded...so, don't sweat it...there are huge advantages to those domain names...easy to remember...easy to promote...easy for surfers to type in without a link...which would you prefer to put on a cap, t-shirt or business card?

WeightWatchers.com

or

howtobustmybigfatflabbybellyinlessthanamonthguaranteed.com ?

Starting out from zero, you would expect to rank on the keyword domain much quicker, but longer term the branded one makes a lot more sense.

Besides, there's nothing to stop you from getting another domain, linking them together or redirecting one domain name into the other to work at getting the power of both.

2. Both uses for keywords are high ranking factors, along with all the other things taught here at WA. The best part about keyword rich domains is that they can match (at least in part) many of the post/page titles for your articles...this causes them to support each other in getting ranked over all...there is a huge boost potential to get ranked using that method...and, yes...Jaaxy not only gives you real ranking info for both titles and domain names, but with the click of a link it tells you if the .com is available or not.

3. As you can imagine, competition can easily take control of what are normally cooler heads. Even though Jaaxy is really an internal link by just about any standard...after all it is directly connected to Site Domains, under Siterubix in the WA platform...for the sake of erring on the side of prudence, the only time I would consider offering an affiliate link to Jaaxy is after an extensive 1 on 1 conversation where my searching for keyword domains for them failed to satisfy them...in which case, if they haven't ever signed up for it before and want to do it for themselves, then I would use my affiliate link, as I think in that instance I have earned it.

Any greater use of affiliate links within posts or messages is really pointless anyway...in a lot of ways. I don't even like to share links to my own training in public messages and only in private messages when the training is directly related to what the person is asking about.

Avoid putting any external potentially profit making links in your blog posts, as this upsets a lot of folks. I have no complaints as the terms of service are there from the start...just trying to clarify from a practical standpoint...really, you do have to get rankings to make real money...that's the WA program. Hope that helps. :)

I'm Back....

OK, so I reviewed the lesson on Content Ideas from Keywords, and got some feedback. Although I have a better understanding of it now, I wanted to get your input, if I may James.

In trying to understand the numbers to look for, here's what I've gathered:

Avg - anything over 50 (someone else said over 20)
Traffic - not too important, any traffic is good
QSR - I've been told under 200 is good, and under 50 or 60

One of the things that was confusing me was that I didn't realize that a keyword could be a single word or a phrase; it's stated right in the lesson, but I overlooked it the first time.

This is where the glitch happened in building my site; because I didn't fully understand this part, everything else I did was built on a shaky foundation. I'm really not trying to make this "perfect", I already know that's not happening, but I want to feel a bit more comfortable, than what I feel now, before moving forward.

I think I'll be going back over your post "Appreciating the Power of Jaxxy" many times.

I really appreciate you taking the time to read this James.

Veronica

Hi...the first thing I would ask is are you using a domain name you purchased or are you still using your original ".siterubix.com" domain?

If you are using the ".siterubix.xom" still, then no worries at all...you have learned this before purchasing a domain name and everything else is easily changed.

If you have purchased a domain, then what is it, and we will go from there.

JChrisA

Hi James,

I purchased a domain: clutter-clean-up.com

I don't know why, but I really wanted a .com as opposed to a .org, but they didn't have cluttercleanup.com available. It wasn't until a week or so later, that I remembered Kyle saying something about his preference in having a name without the dashes. UGH!!!

As I'm reviewing this particular lesson, I see that I should have spent a lot more time on this, and I can't help but wonder if I should have give it another name altogether.

I'm stuck in a major way James...

Veronica

I don't have the moment right now to look further into it, but we will give it some more time when I am back at my desk this evening. :)

No rush James, you're taking time out of your schedule to help me, so whatever time works best for you, works best for me.

Hi!...this is sensitive information, so we must handle it only through the private message system...not this public one...under no circumstances should you mention this to anyone...I have the solution to your problem! Will send you a private message now. :)

Great share and advice, thanks,

Thank, Mike...I am still amazed that more people don't have Jaaxy...I can kind of understand that with the expanded version as that is quite a chunk of change for most of us (and, after all I still have reputation for being cheap to maintain), but the $19 a month is really very reasonable.

I think it is a fair price.

This is good to know JChris. I'm actually reviewing courses 1 & 2 before moving forward with course 3. I think my "Ooops!" Moment came around lesson 7, which introduces us to Jaaxy. I didn't realize that a keyword could be a word or a phrase. I'll keep your tip in mind.

Just curious: How does the Keyword Tool that WA offers, measure up to Jaaxy. Or rather, what's the difference between the two?

Excellent question...the basic functionality is the same in that both tools are getting their info from the same sources, however, most of what you are getting from Jaaxy is:1. speed...2. the domain name search capabilities...3. organization (Jaaxy is really well thought out with filing, history and list export features for your convenience...4. Jaaxy is very good at researching your competition, too...much better than the WA free tool.

Yes...practically speaking, the shorter the keyword the more hits it gets, but your chances of ranking for a single word are usually around zero...the longer the keyword phrase (I usually include the word phrase as it is less likely to mislead folks) the greater your chances of ranking due to lower competition, but the fewer searches it will get.

A secret to searching is to try to expand the number of words in the phrase without losing significant hits ( the Avg column in Jaaxy)...here is an example:

losebellyfat

loseyourbellyfat

waystoloseyourbellyfat

bestwaystoloseyourbellyfat

bestwaystoloseyourbellyfatfast

bestwaystoloseyourbellyfatfastforgood

The top example will get a lot of hits, but you will have little chance of ranking for it...the last example will probably give you a 99-100% chance to rank, but virtually no exact searches.

Most likely, the best keyword phrase here would be somewhere in the middle of the examples, or with substituting in other words, like "quickly" in place of "fast", etc.

Hope that helps. :)

My goodness, I appreciate your thorough response. I went over the video yestetday, but I'll be doing the practice search today. If I have any issues, I'll make sure to look for you, if that's OK. I dub you Jaaxy Coach, lol.

Surely you can do the search without the spaces?

yes...do the search with the spaces, if this is how you would search for it...always think about what the web surfer would do...you can do a little experiment some time to see how the system handles your punctuation...in Site Manager, in your website, make a new title as for a new post...you will see when you add punctuation to your titles, the system eliminates it when it creates the url name...things like :, ;, ?, !

Get creative in how you might make a proper sentence out of keyword phrases that are powerful but don't initially make sense, remember if it has good numbers, people have already been searching for it for a reason.

bestwaystoloseyourbellyfatfastforgood

Also, you can use capital letters to make your links for readable if you like...the underlying url stays the same anyway:

BestWaysToLoseYourBellyFatFastForGood

Wow that's pretty cool! Jaaxy is a powerful tool.

It is, indeed...and worth the $19 a month...:)

Funny enough I just got a notification that someone signed up for a free Jaxxy account from my promotions page, just below the notification of your post. Talk about providence.

So I went to look at it to re-evaluate. I am still heavily using the free Keyword Tool.

I read Kyles blog on domain flipping using Jaxxy sometime back. That would be a cool thing to do. Will get to it soon.

Thanks for sharing.

I would be doing it, but I think that's a whole other full-time job! :)

Hi JChris, Jaaxy is an amazing tool to use. Irv.

I wouldn't want to be without it now...even cheapskates like me can get spoiled! lol

Thanks for sharing this..

Pat

Thank you, Pat!

It is easy to underestimate the power of keywords, when stressing content, but the truth is keywords are simply "content that people are looking for"...if they aren't looking for it, can it really be good, important content?

I chose brand oriented domain names, and I am not sorry I did...ever try to put:

bestwaystobustmybigfatbellynow.com on a ball cap?

won't work...but:

bellybusters.com

would...that's the difference between the keyword and branded name domains.

Keyword domains will generally rank sooner, but brand domains, I believe, are more valuable in the long term as they are more suited to being remembered or even becoming a household name.

Those domains I used are examples only...not mine...don't know whose they are...not intended as a promotion of any kind! lol :)

Yes is very cool Jaaxy !:) thx u sharing I'm on way building my websites .

Here is something I would recommend everyone read before choosing a domain name:

Great info, many thanks.
Find me a domain with that amount of hits please and ill build a niche around it..Lol ;)
Cheers Tosh.

Thanks, Tosh!

I really am recommending people to get Jaaxy for themselves...these were situations where folks are really needing something and feeling distressed or discouraged.

It is way to easy to give up, especially early on.

Yep, I totally understand.
Ive hit a brick wall at the mo!
Cheers Tosh.
