The Middle is Always The Hardest

In the Middle of the Storm Called Life

Recently I was talking with a good friend about life. He is in the middle of some hard things going on at work and in his personal life with his family. I listened to him and loved him. He wasn’t telling me this to complain or display his hardened heart. He was legitimately hurting, feeling frustrated, and feeling scared.

I was reminded that it is always the hardest when we are in the middle of the trial. When we are in the middle of the hard situation that is leaving us feeling all kinds of difficult emotions we find it very difficult to see the other side. Is there actually light at the end of the tunnel? This is what my friend was feeling.

It’s funny looking back on every hard situation there was always light on the other side. I just couldn’t see that. Sometimes all we need is a friend to listen to us. All we need is a friend to empathize with us and tell us that we are in the middle of it right now and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

In the Middle of the Storm of Our Business

I think the same can be said here at WA. We get in the middle of our online bussiness. We are trying to make all of the right steps but can’t see any fruit from the work we are putting into it. We can’t see the light. Sometimes all we need is a friend to share our feelings and tell us, “It’s going to be okay. You are in the middle of it. I’m in it with you. There is light at the end of the tunnel.”
