I know that WA has a funnel, but it's always good to research other options too.
Do they? Because I looked around and couldn't find it, at least, not the kind of thing I'm used to. Like landing pages...a blog article? I'm still stuck on those matters here at WA!
In the question box I put in funnel and found "start with WA funnel first." so I guess so. I've never used one but I think that a funnel is used when you want to create an email list. You have a first page where they put in their email address. A funnel is supposed to take all of the emails and create a list for you so that you can email them all at the same time..... I think. You can tell that I have a lot of experience with this.
LOL...it's not a question of experience. But actually I was (and still am) used to work with real funnels, witch are ways of making the client go to a certain way, ending on the sale. Doesn't need to be exactly through email listing, but helps. Here in Wa it's so different, that I'm having some dificulties in promote them. Although I love the platform, it's much harder to "sell" without landing pages and proper funnels!

Especially newbies without reputation, -where do you go to find clients who want advertisers for their products?
I am quite new. I started by checking to see if my domain name provider offered a partner network - Then I reviewed a hosting service, and joined them. But there are endless possibilities ...
I am on a free one http://bloggermelive.com/blog/2015/05/03/5quidhost/ but I should think there are many. I liked this one because they offered a forever free for a small site with an option of a cheap upgrade. If you go premium here you get free hosting anyway though
Hi Tracey
There are thousands of affiliate programs out there.
These programs are from companies who provide you with an affiliate code/link so that if you direct anyone from your website to theirs, and the visitor makes a purchase, then you earn a commission.
That's the basis of an affiliate website, you create a site based on your hobby or interest and then refer your website visitors to companies who are selling things that your visitors would be interested in.
So as an example, if you were interested in tennis you could set up a site that had content about tennis players, tournaments, coaching, local clubs etc. You could also have reviews about different types of tennis racquets. Your reviews could contain affiliate links to companies who sell racquets and if any of your website visitors bought a racquet, you would earn a commission.
I hope that makes sense!
In terms of finding affiliate programs, I think there is a link within the Jaaxy tool, or otherwise you can Google "affiliate programs tennis" or whatever your niche is and you will get lots of results of companies who offer affiliate programs.
Sorry for the long post! If anything doesn't make sense just let me know!
Best wishes
John

I'm starting to make a travel site because it's something that I know, but I'm trying to figure out good free gifts to entice people to join my list and keep coming back. I don'
What about offering something like "10 preparation tips you should do before traveling with children", or a top 5 money saving tips when booking a motel, flight, etc.
What about a travel planner or planning checklist type thing. Not too familiar with what people offer in that business but maybe that could give you an idea. My personal fav is to do a giveaway, I believe amazon does them thru their site now for bloggers. the only thing is I think you'd need a few members first.
Great question. Yes, ebooks do take time to create. How about Travel Guide, with drawings and tips for travel? Or maybe some games for testing customers the procress of traveling?
Like an online quiz to see if you are ready to travel. I might be focusing on gap year kids so that could be great. Thanks!
