I am still at it.
After reading a couple articles about the direction I wanted my HIp Hop Music Review website to go in. I had to dig deep and think. The problem was I was building a site that needed alot of content to stay relevant. I thought to myself that seemed like a lot of work doing it alone. The whole purpose of me joining WA is I wanted less work. After searching and searching for Authors for content writing for a Hip Hop Blog I came up empty handed. No one wanted to write for free and I didn't blame them. So then I changed it to a User Review site that I could run myself. Even more work as a one man army. The niche im in is flooded with unsigned artists, so I have to anticipate a large amount of submissions soon as the word spreads. I was searching for something simple and less time consuming. My main thought pattern is Passive Income.
I kind of gave up after that until recently I discovered the wonderful world of Podcasting. After reading about what it was and how to do it, what equipment I needed ..EUREKA! I sat for 3 days thinking how can I use this in my niche. Then BINGO it was like a light turned on in my head. Instead of writing content I could just review music by talking!! Not to mention use PLR in my own voice to educate artists on a variety of topics related to music marketing. Less work!!! More Traffic!!! The hunger was back instantly, I restructured my website to cater to this idea. I have been absorbing all the youtube videos on Podcasting. One website in particular is a excellent resource for people interested in starting a podcast. Its called PodcastAnswerman.com with a very successful Podcaster named Cliff J. Ravenscraft. I ordered all my equipment and will be launching my first podcast in September called "The Convo", with a huge network of supporters that have been following my journey since day one. Now I have full control over my content without having to worry about the daunting task of writing thousands of articles of valuble content. Now I just plan out my episodes and then just speak on them. Im gonna love this!!
The moral of this story is that despite the ups and downs we go through here in WA we must stay the course. You will have hundreds of ideas that you think will lead you no where. Fact of the matter is each time you change your idea...you actually build off the last idea. For all you new additions to WA, I have been working on my unpublished webiste for almost 2 years now off and on. I want it convenient enough for me to gain a passive income, so I work at it until im comfortable enough to launch it. Whats the rush...take your time and learn what you need to learn. It gets greater later. #KEEPPUSHIN

A good example of being flexible with your goals based on what develops with your website business, Jay!!
Thank you...I knew when I first started WA that it would have to be a journey instead of a foot race.
