I’m facing deactivation in 30 days from with CJ affiliates network. It’s due to no commission sales, should I promote the products through social media or continue

Hi - I took a look at your site and you seem to have a good amount of content at over 160 posts. (Although for a site that is nearly 4 years old, I would expect it to be around 350 posts minimum).

However, I put your site through the Ubersuggest tool, and although you are ranking for 150 words, none of your posts seem to be on page 1 of Google.

So, either your keywords are not meeting your searcher's intent or you are up against some big websites.

Don't just rely on the figures in Jaaxy, are you looking at your competition already ranking on page 1 of Google? Your content needs to be better, more informative, more up-to-date, more in-depth than everybody else.

You also need to consider user experience, which is also a ranking factor. There is no navigation menu, no way of readers finding something they are interested in.

Plus, do all of your posts contain affiliate links? The majority of your posts should be informational, not commercial.

Are you passionate about your niche? Do you really want to help people with it? Do you have ideas how you can help people with it? Then continue with it.

When you do a google search are there other suggested words that appear? Also are there questions people also ask? (scroll below your search? You could also check http://answersocrates.com. If you do not find any questions, then maybe you do need to rethink your niche. What problems do you know that need to be solved related to your niche?

A new website must have at least 15 - 20 informational posts before signing up for an affiliate program. Write some more informational blogs to grow your traffic first before monetizing. Without traffic I would not apply to an affiliate program. At least 70% of your blogs should be informational (how to, what is, why, can)..

We see Diane has give you some statistics about your site which are very helpful. See them below.

I continue to build | add content, onward sharing to social media platforms and find another appropiate program relevant to my focused niche, however if you believe you are passionate and genuinely interested in your niche.

Once you have enough traffic, you can apply again if you wish to promote products from CJ.

Im getting deactivated in 30 days from cj affiliate, do I need to promote to social media?

Authoring & Writing Content

Hi Kyle, I was wondering what should I do about CJ affiliate program? I was deactivated due no sales. If I reactivate it, they may do the same thing later on because my blog tr

Hi Jerald, you should be writing at least 2 1,000 word posts weekly. The more the better to be seen by Google and start driving traffic. May I ask how many posts do you write per week and how many have you written so far? Are you following the training?

Tom

Most affiliate programs want proof in the pudding for traffic and clicks to their programs. Amazon's affiliate program does the same thing and as far as I know, Commission Junction will let you reapply later on and be accepted again like how Amazon does it.

Keep on creating content and increase your rankings. Once you have some blog posts that have some traffic, you can go back and edit them with affiliate links in the proper spots once it is gaining traction and traffic.

I'd suggest focusing on keywords that maybe don't have hundreds of searches per month and a bunch of competition - there are plenty of keywords out there with 30-40 searches per month and 0-50 QSR that will be easier to rank for. Deep dive into your keyword research and find terms that have super low QSR and create awesome content around that keyword!

It'll take some time to get ranked for those keywords. With all of the training here, and through gaining more experience, you'll be able to rank for them. Then you'll be able to reapply for whatever affiliate program and generate some sales.

As for social media, there are training within the OEC training modules that show some social media training. There have been some live classes as well going over different social media platforms.

It's good to know what's up with the different social media platforms, but I'd recommend focusing on creating amazing content on your website before trying to gain more traffic from social media.
