Prosperity Proverb #5 - Great Leaders
"Stop daydreaming and pay attention!", said the school teacher to the student.
When we were in grade school, we were taught that it was considered "bad behavior" to daydream at our desk, instead of listen to what the teacher had to say. Do you remember what the teacher said all those years ago? Neither do I. I guess it really wasn't that important.
I remember when I was in grade school, I daydreamed a lot. I hardly ever did my homework. Now that I'm an adult, I daydream a lot - It's called Meditation.
What is Meditation?
Without getting too technical, Meditation is purposeful focus on a worthy ideal (or goal).
How Do I Meditate?
Get yourself into a comfortable position (preferably sitting) in a relatively quiet place. The more quiet you can make your surroundings, the more effecient meditation you will have. I meditate for an hour in the morning. Where I live there is a lot of open land so I dont have an issue with noise or distractions unless you count the sound of a fly buzzing in the air.... :)
Kidding aside, I use a candle when I meditate. In the morning when its still dark (6 am), I light a candle and stare into it from about 2-3 feet away. I concentrate on the flame until my peripheral vision becomes blurry and all I see is the flame. I focus on the flame as I entertain my goals in my mind. I use meditation music that I made myself with an app for the MAC called Brainwave Studio. I dont have a link to it, so you'll have to search the app store. You don't have to use any music if you dont want too; I find it beneficial in assisting with concentration.
Dream big dreams.
Concentrate your dreams into action by meditating on them daily. Keep doing this until a wider scope and a greater liberty takes posession of you! This will be your fuel to achieve your dream!
From mind, to emotion, to action! If you will dream and continue to dream, you will find the right actions to take, and one day your world will at last be built!
