No! Not Another Boo Boo!
Well, here it goes! Just when you would think that everyone would know the difference between a "Page" and a "Post" by now - surprise - apparently not!
That's right! Even after having taken all those Bootcamp lessons, I did not realize the clear & distinct difference between the two. I was sadly surprised by this fact when I could not set up my Blogroll & my inability to insert the "More" feature in my site's pages for my Blogroll starting page. Therefore, I compromised...I did it manually! Not a good choice!
Only after struggling for a few weeks and seeking help from many friends in the Community, did it suddenly hit me that my site only has "Pages" and no "Posts", and that this could be the reason why I cannot set up my Blogroll. Sure enough, that was the reason!
As a result, I am now facing the daunting task of having to convert about 15 "Pages' into "Posts" so that I can establish my Blogroll! I am keeping a few "Pages" as they are in my site, such as: "About", "Getting Started", etc. for I don't want them to appear in the Blogroll. I have to admit, and please forgive my French; my mistake was so stupendous that it is almost funny! But then, what can I say? I should have known better! I wonder if anyone else has done this.
At any rate, my reason for this post is to warn others out there who may unknowingly be inclined to make same time-consuming mistake as I did. Trust me; you don't want to go there! If you want to have a Blogroll, then you MUST write anything that you want to appear in the Blogroll as a "Post" and NOT as a "Page" in your site! Otherwise, well, I don't have to tell you that it will force you to go to the back of the line - AGAIN!
I hope this warning will be helpful to all Newbies, as well as those who are contemplating having a Blogroll for their site.
With my very best to all of you,
Jay

Well judging by the answers below you were not alone! And this posts will help me and others to be cautious! Thank you
I did not go quite as far as you but it did confound me for a bit until one day it clicked, hope you get all back to normally without too much stress
It is so unfortunate that I have not been the only one who had to go through this ordeal. Sorry you had to waste your time too.
Best regards... Jay
Hey Jay, this is good advise. I went through something similar a while back and it wasn't pretty. I even lost a few social media shares in the process.
Hi Ade,
That's too bad you had to go through the trouble as well. I wonder if this issue was covered in any of the lessons or not - I cannot remember.
If you know, would you please let me know? If this issue was never covered, I will let Kyle know so that he can include it somewhere to prevent others having to face this ugly problem.
Thank you for your comments & take care... Jay
