How To Set Your Self A Goal To Succeed !

You Owe It To Yourself

To be successful you need to have your self a goal, something to aim for so you know you are on the right track to success. Weather you want to change career, go on that dream holiday, buy that dream house or lose some weight a goal will help you achieve what you seek.

A person with no goals you could say is walking through life blindfolded not knowing what they want. Almost drifting from side to side influenced by other peoples decisions.

To become successful a goal is essential and regular monitoring and adjustments will be required. The key when setting goals is to be realistic and not wishful, you have to set your goal to your unique situation. Setting a goal is the easy part of the process, completing it on the other hand is where most people fail.

Why do most people fail?

Most people fail either due to wishful, unrealistic thinking or through a lack of persistence. At the first sign of defeat people throw in the towel because they do not obtain persistence which is one of the most important intangible forces you could posses when goal setting.

Lets look at some intangible forces you will need to recognize before you make a decision to set a goal.

• Desire - You must have a desire to do something, be someone or attain something before you can try to set a goal, essentially you must be thinking about what it is you want with a burning desire to have it or be it.

• Faith - You must believe with absolute certainty that what you want is attainable and within your grasp.

• Organised planing - You will need a plan to execute the desire and turn the intangible to the tangible. This requires planning into action

• Time Scale - A time scale is essential to moderate, maintain and edit your goal

• Persistence - You must recognize the importance of persistence when pursuing the goal in which you seek.

Decide on each of the intangible forces what action you need to take, I suggest writing them onto a piece of paper in a way which is readable and makes sense, be specific.

For example :

By the first of February 2016 I will have in my possession a monthly cash-flow of $1000.00 (desire)

In return for this money I will give the most efficient service of which I am capable of providing the fullest possible quantity and best possible quality in the capacity of selling beauty products through my website. ( specific organised planning )

I strongly believe I will have this money in my possession, my faith is so strong I can see and touch this money right now. (faith) this money is awaiting my collection and in the proportion I deliver the service I intend to give in return for it.

Persistence

comes from reading this goal out loud every morning before you get out of bed and every night before you go to sleep. You will need to believe with no doubt in your mind that this is what you want and you shall have it.

With enough persistence and action you will see this goal taking shape, and in the proportion of how much you truly want what you are seeking.
