Anyone had this issue?

WHen I post links to my post on twitter or hootsuite or buffer, it doesn't show the preview that it used to. In other words, it doesn't show the pi

Yes it has to do with the size of the image. Every social media outlet has their own image size limits and you will have to adjust them before posting.

My friend @PjGermain has some good info on this here: I hope this helps

Mike

I had the exact same problem so I contacted site support and gave them my password (which is totally safe to do I must admit) and they sorted it straight away.

No no Matthew, Juan is referring to the images in social media accounts, like Facebook and Twitter, when he shares his posts.

You're referring to uploading images to your WordPress website.

No I am not, every time I put my links onto social media when I first started it would always show my featured image that I put to the post, but for some reason after a few weeks it just stopped showing the featured image without any change in how I posted the links to any social media site.
So I got in contact with site support and they found the problem and sorted it.

Oh WOW Matthew, I poked my nose in where it didn't belong. Sorry about that. Wonder what Support did to "fix it" ...

Not at all, you just wanted to help as much as I did.
The support team didn't actually tell me what was wrong they just told me that they had been able to post something on my Google + account with the image and it should be ok from now on....which it has, fingers crossed.lol

Yes that's the same exact problem I have! It really sucks cause it's slowed down my social media campaigns to a halt and I need that traffic lol. I'm still talking to sitesupport about it but still nothingI'll mention to them that it's the same problem you had and see if that gets them anywhere.

Hopefully you will get it sorted soon

Authoring & Writing Content

I'm looking at research articles that I can cite for my articles to support points. I've been using Google Scholar and Web of Science.

Considering how complex and effect

You could join Quora
https://www.quora.com/

I'll check it out Loes, thanks

Since many documents are in pdf format, you can search google using

filetype:pdf plus your keyword

For example: my keyword is ketone metabolism. The search query is filetype:pdf ketone metabolism.

The google SERP screen shot shows documents from educational institutes etc.

Thanks Glen!

Good stuff I'll start trying this for my next post, thanks!

Search Engine Optimization

I have been looking at the SEO training available and also been checking out what backlink building content is available using the search bar and have been blown away at the la

The only backlinks that work these days are high quality ones from authority sites, which are incredibly difficult for new sites to get without greyhat or blackhat techniques.

If you build a site with great content that gets shared socially, other respected sites will link to you naturally, without any effort on your part. :)

According to Kyle, backlinks are no longer important.

Very nice and informative article. Still, I have to wonder because in my niche I've seen some of the top competitors constantly ranking in the first page of google for articles that although they are pretty well written, they have at most 500 words and never have any media. Sleep.org and sleepfoundation.org are the two most salient examples.

My guess is that must be because those are already long-time well-established "authoritative" sites, kind of how websites like http://psychologytoday.com or http://webmd.com wouldn't require backlinks (at least not nowadays) nor even keywords to get ranked.

PJ Germaine an expert here has prepared a good training!

Thanks for the hookup Michael, I think I've seen this resource. It's very useful and complete for understanding what each type of anchor text and backlink encompasses, but its doesn't really go over how to get the different backlinks to point to your site :/

Have a look at this link

Good Luck. Have a Blessed Day

Thanks Frank, this has potential!
