The beginning

So here I am at the part of the lessons where I'm supposed to write my first blog post here at WA, so here we go. :)

It all started when I got in balance with my omega 6:3 ratio back in 2016 and was so positively surprised of all the benefits I felt, by taking a special oil designed to balance the omega 6:3 ratiodown to 3:1 or lower. I also took a vitamin/mineral and immune enhancing formula that works in synergy with the oil.

How I went from customer to partner.

The oil I'm talking about above, I got from my brother who has been working with a direct sales company for some years. In 2012 the company launched a new product the oil.

It took me some years to be convinced to try the oil and on a daily basis, but because of the impact it had on me, I decided to join the company in September 2016.

I'm well aware that people have some opinions for or against the industry.
I tried my luck earlier with an ordinary MLM company without any luck.
But that didn't shape my opinion on direct sales as a failed industry.

I have seen alot of people succeed and fail in direct sales, and as with all other home based businesses, it takes work and time to build a solid recurring income.

Most people that fail in direct sales or any other home-based industry didn't get the proper training, decided to quit before getting results or just didn't do the work needed to get where they wanted to go.

So why I did join a direct sales company again after having failed earlier?

Because this company was different in the way it worked.

Normally with a MLM,Network Marketing, Direct Sales company, one would have to buy products for a certain amount each month to be active.

The company I choose to work with, has a main focus on getting customers outside the company, through the partners, and also by building a team of partners via a system that can be duplicated.
(Most direct sales companies have a duplicaple system.)

I don't have to buy a stock of products, I get my own webshop where i can direct customers to and the company handles all from customer service to shipping.

They even offer a partner/customer loalty program that makes it possible for the patner/customer to get the products for free each month by reffering other customers.

How I ended up as a Wealthy Affiliate Member.

Back in the start 2000's i was in on the wave of internet marketing (Earned less than 100$) cruising the traffic systems that was hot at that time, trying to figure it all out.

I did learn a lot and it was fun, but I couldn't afford it in the end and decided to quit, just as the seeds were sown. I'm sure that If I had kept going, I would have had success.

So here I am back in September 2016 after having tried to come out of my comfort zone in order to get some customers in my network without luck.

Then one day I got some customers by an accident, at a dinner with my mom and some of her friends.(because I told how the oil had helped me), but I didn't get any more customers after that.

I was too shy and introvert to go out and meet people and try to convince them to buy the oil for their own best.

One day when researching the net, I felt over a blog like site, owned by a partner in the company I work with.

I got the Idea that I would build my customer and team online and started to look for a system to market my direct sales company online.

I first stumbled upon MLSP and some of the other hyped up or overpriced programs out there, but had learned my lessons from back in the days, not to fall for all that, without proper research.

But I felt I was onto something here.

WA, The Choice.

The things I looked for when resarching the opportunities, was what real people was saying about the different programs and how they said it.
Was it genuine or sales hype, homemade or replicated website etc.

Then one day I stumbled upon a site about something called Wealthy Affiliate.

It was a review of the program and it was personal and it felt right.
The best of all was, that it was free to join, so I decided that I would take a peek.

After a couple of hours following the instructions, I was sold, this was it. I had found the holy grail of learning how to market online, that I have been searching for.

An online marketing school, community and much more of like minded people from all over the world... Wauw.

I'm so grateful for all I have learned in here so far, and I look forward to a long term relationship with WA and I'm also looking forward to the day my first sale from the work I'm doing is arriving.

I didn't know how to use WordPress, and would properly never have tried if i hadn't joined WA.

It feels like I'm on the right path and love the personal touch you give the platform/program Kyle.

When I'm earning enough in WA to pay for an yearly subscription, i plan to upgrade from monthly to yearly premium member.

What is your opinion?

I know my niche isn't liked by many in here, when it comes to direct sales, but what is the difference, if I don't have to buy and ship the products myself?

All I have to do, is to help new customers (like affiliates) refer partners (like affiliates)
and help them do the same.

My plan is to build my team, by learning others to market the company's products online via Wealthy Affiliate.

By doing this I hope to get people who a hungry at making it online and willing to learn and at the same time building income in multiple streams.

The extra bonus is, that although the company just launched the opportunity to market online via facebook live events, I think I'm one of the first to think out of the box and build a team of bloggers, that market the same niche.

When i'm skilled enough I will also be doing webinars/Facebook Live, to train the team and to present the opportunity/products.

Do you think that it would be possible for me to unite the 2?

I haven't started on the "build my team project" yet, still need to learn some more, but the seed is sown.
