Social Engagement Isn't So Bad
So, I was just cruising W.A. and I got to Training, Level 4, Lesson 1, and the post says not to waste time "hanging out" on your social media profiles. I agree to some extent. You shouldn't just idly chat all day long, but social engagement is pretty important. People's interactions with eachother is evolving, and even high-status individuals are chatting with casual users. You want people to think you are a human, not a serious, no-nonsense company bot.
It is not entirely destructive to your business to "hang out" a little bit on social media, as far as I am aware. The modern populace likes companies that are open and social, less strict and business-like, and more aloof and casual. Take Elon Musk for example. Or Norman Kelly. People like people who are humble enough to talk to those in lower positions of power. Lots of YouTubers also hang out to increase interaction on their profiles. This humanizes the companies. It makes them less a faceless robot and more a connectable individual with a personality.
That's just my two cents, but I speak from experiences on both ends.
