SiteComments disapproved?!?

I think there should be some sort of an appeal process for when someone disapproves your comment. I just had one disapproved because I was skeptical of the product he was reviewing, and had some questions. But his comment about why he disapproved it was because it was "too short" (which WA won't let you submit it if it's too short) and it didn't offer FEEDBACK! Plus, he said it was "lazily written". I had questions to a product YOU promoted, so that means I read the whole thing and was generally interested until I had heard back with some answers. That's how COMMENTS work!!!

Feedback is for critiquing your site, I feel like I left a comment that he could engage with. Perhaps he didn't have any answers to my questions. Perhaps he knew his product was crap and didn't like my questions.

But I don't think your comment approval rating should go down if someone doesn't like the comment you left them. I wasn't trolling, I wasn't being mean, I just had questions which are LEGIT as far as comments on websites go!

To Kyle and Carson, I would really like to see something like this changed because I don't think my approval rating should go down just because I had some tough questions another affiliate marketer couldn't answer.

OK, rant over. I was just kinda upset when I saw his rebuttal to why he disapproved my comment.

I totally agree, in a comment I acknowledged that his points were valid, but he overlooked one factor which I pointed out in the comment, and I got disapproved. He said that I did not read his post fully and was almost accusatory and would not enhance his post but only hinder.

So I guess I shouldn't point out to others who are reading his posts that there are more things to consider?

I agree, if you don't like the answer, don't ask the question :)

Well said, Jason. There has been a lot of that lately. I've seen it complained of several times in the past 2 months. If a person wants constructive criticism and refuses it when they think it's too harsh or questioning, then DON'T ASK FOR IT!!!
Kyle and Carson, you need to look into this stuff, as it is cause for problems in WA.

And to top it off...I researched the product he was promoting. It's a total SCAM! I can't believe there's WA members promoting these scammy products.

Some are unscrupulous and others just don't catch it.
