Hey everyone! If you've been reading my blogs you would know that I have been blogging about my rankings every now and then. On March 17th 2016 I blogged about how my targeted keyword was on the 4th page of Google.
Then, on March 28th, I blogged about how I was on the 2nd page, 1st spot. So that makes me at #11.
Today, I'm here to tell you all that I am on the 2nd spot for all of Google! The only site ranking better than I am is Reddit. I've been #1 on Bing for a while now, but I'm loving Google right now since Google is showing my site some love :)

So, if you're new, please don't be discouraged as you can see firsthand how it takes time to get great rankings. I can't believe how much it's jumped in these past couple of months.
And yes, I do have affiliate links for that post, and I do get paid if someone signs up for that service. And I'm sure you all want to know if I had actually made any money off of it.
The answer is YES! See, my site is totally independent of the top ranked sites. People see an actual human honestly reviewing a service so they'll click on that more often. Even beating out Yahoo's Finance department. I'm essentially beating out much bigger sites. I don't know how to beat Reddit, but I am doing very well for being in the #2 spot. And I'll take it!
It's funny because this isn't even a "low hanging fruit" keyword. It just has extremely low competition and I was lucky enough to be a part of that service when I found out they added an referral program :)
