Hey everyone! Yesterday I get an email from one of my referral programs stating that they "refunded" me $10. I wasn't owed any money so I wondered what the $10 "refund" was for. So, I contacted live customer support and they said that the $10 was from a referral! That's right, I get $10 for every signup.
My last blog post was me talking about ranking #1 on Bing for my targeted keywords, and I was on the 2nd page for Google, but it was those same keywords that netted me my $10 referral! It was a total organic search that led that traffic to my site.
The funny thing is, I was totally honest in my review. I even stated that the company might not last long once the competition caught up, and how expensive it was to use this service if you work for Uber full-time. And I still got a referral. I guess it is because it is a service that I personally use, and there's not many reviews on it at all.

So that just goes to show you how your reviews, no matter how positive or negative, will help influence a person if they want to sign up/buy your product you're promoting. In this instance it seems like the pros outweighed the cons. And honesty being the best policy :)
