How To Find Your Passion!

I know what your expecting me to say next when it comes to finding your passion....
"What do you really love to do?"
"Follow your dreams!"
"How do you want to be remembered?"
Wrong.
I've come to realize while this isn't necessarily a terrible place to start considering things you are passionate about, it isn't always that effective.
I think many of us may struggle in this area early on. And if you are anything like me, your not just going to settle for any 'passion' - call it a niche - and create a business around it.
It's gotta be something (completely) satisfying.
My first niche (after 2 days of brainstorming) was Video Games. I enjoy playing, I understand the Video Game market has BOOMED over the last 7 years or so, I can (almost) visualize my completed website now!

But I didn't make it that far, Video Games alone was too broad of a niche, so long story short, I scrapped the website and started over following the Affiliate Bootcamp training.
Which I love!
Here's a quick look at May, only day 5 into the month:

This covers the cost of Premium Membership for the entire Year, and it's still very early in the month.
Who would of thought? I didn't understand the things I do now about this business but followed the training here and gave it a try.

Which brings me to my point - about choosing your passion.
I think for many it can be difficult to come up with a passion or to decide on a niche, and unfortunately, it's as far as they get.
You may have tried the technique where you sit down and write everything you love and are good at. From there your "magically" suppose to come up with the perfect niche idea.
I've been there, it didn't work and I know I'm not the only one.
For those struggling to find your passion - consider a new approach.
Instead of focusing on a single passion, which will magically fall into your lap, Open Up Opportunities.
A prime example, when I decided to give the Bootcamp training a try.
I didn't know what I was getting into or understand much of it AT ALL in the beginning.
I can honestly say that now I really enjoy the progress and direction of my website. Helping others learn/earn in safe places online is becoming a Passion of mine.
I didn't stop at Video Games and give up because it didn't work out. I was open to a new opportunity and very happy with the outcome.
I'm not telling you to join the Bootcamp, it's hard work and may not be a fit for you.
I am asking that you go thru the process of discovering a passion.
Be open to new ideas and opportunities so that when you do discover your passion, you're in a position to take full advantage of it.

YOU DON'T have to be particularly gifted at something to pursuit it, passion sometimes works the opposite way.
As you are learning more about your niche of choice and even getting better at it, it can very well become your passion.
I like what Kyle and Carson have done very early on in the 'Get Started Here' (Certification Course). Which is challenging you to move forward and making it clear your first niche (passion) choice may not be your last, which is entirely true.
We change over time. Our passions change. So trying to pinpoint our “one” passion makes little sense.
I now know that when choosing your niche (passion) it doesn't have to be your all-time favorite thing to do. Take "baby-steps" with something that interests you, it may lead to great success and maybe - even become your Passion.
Keypoints. Discovering a passion may not be an easy process, but waiting for the perfect passion or niche to fall into your lap gets you nowhere. Being open and testing new ideas may lead to great success and while your getting good at it (whatever it may be) it can very well become your Passion.
Open Up Opportunities. A few ways of opening up opportunities would include taking classes (like at WA), reading different books, talking to like-minded individuals.
The Funny Thing is that now I come up with (potentially) great niche ideas on a weekly basis now, but obviously can't pursuit them all. It will happen to most of you as well as you continue learning here at WA.
For those who have a passion in mind or a few ideas and are not sure if it will be a good niche or not, feel free to share below.
The other great WA members or myself will gladly try and help you in determining a niche :)
Hope this helps and Happy Friday!
Jason
