Hi! I was just checking my website dashboard to complete the updates and saw a message posted. I was wondering if it is just spam or something of importance that I should keep

we had a well-known member here post a similar message and yes, it's spam!
whenever make note or check the url .... and Trish here has given you a helpful instruction ...

Sounds like you received a comment on your blog that someone has used to spam you.
To protect yourself from future abuse from this person, click on Spam under the comment (2nd screen print below), then add their IP address, and their email address to your Settings > Discussion area (scroll down to find the Comment Blacklist). See 1st screen print below...

I have added images to a post, but even after I click update they do not appear on my actual website. I have checked the preview and they show on that screen but not on the ac
Thanks to all of you ... it is now working and the images are showing up.
I'm starting to think that the 'Theme" I picked probably was not the best choice as I go along, but hopefully it will all come together. This is the first website/blogs that I have ever done so I hope it all comes together okay.
Try refreshing your browser after you click update and view post. Sometimes the cache memory doesn't get updated.

You need to update your website after you are happy with the preview. It is located next to the preview tab in the upper right-hand corner.

I am in the process of trying to set up a forward for my website ... I would like to use my WA mail for right now - is this automatic or is there a specific name WA members us
Hi Jan,
The WA mail is just for private messaging between members.
I set up a new gmail for just business related mail, and forward my domain mail to it.
That way it's just business and separate from my personal one.
