This is my take about the content of Course 2, Level 4. It is my way of understanding what it means...


How To Get Buyers To Your Affiliate Website

Getting people to follow you via SM channels (Fb, Tw, G+, Instagram, etc) takes time. You won’t make instant sales. You have to suck them in via your content. Perhaps they may revisit?

To pick up potential customers, upload product reviews that are being searched for.

Negative reviews often work.

Typical review keywords are: review, scam, comparison, information, versus.

Compare products with one another. Buyers will ONLY come when they feel comfortable with reviews.

Point your visitors in the direction of affiliate products through YOUR affiliate links.

Ready-to-buy crowds are NOT easy to find.

  • Read regularly about your niche
  • Know your niche’s pros and cons
  • Know the problems in your niche

Search terms to target:-

Where do I buy XYZ?
Best deal on XYZ

Buy XYZ online

Purchase XYZ

Many people learn about products offline before they go online. They will then dig around. Many will then buy online.

Advertising offline works. If an affiliate product is being advertised in a magazine by the vendor, people WILL then do a search online. Leverage this. Milk late-night infomercials.

Milk company advertising. Use product reviews and purchase keywords. Brand awareness will already be present. Those typing in variants of brand names want more information. People will only buy when they are familiar with a brand after seeing an ad.

Advertisers usually don't take advantage of product related keywords. Those are search terms which include the product or company name.

People searching for product-related keywords are far along the purchasing lifecycle. They are knowledgeable. They have been exposed to branding and advertisement.

Ideally, there should be few competing web pages. Keywords should have little competition in order to suck in targeted traffic that is far along the customer purchasing lifecycle.

Deliver product information that potential visitors are looking for and you will succeed.

Write: “XYZ is excellent; but check out this alternative…”

You may then be more able to convert a product centric audience.

For long term customers, get them to subscribe to your email mailing list.

That is NOT easy to do when you have little traffic at the start. Only do this when you have plenty of visitors.

Do you really want to CONNECT with fickle Amazon buyers? If you do, you have to entice them to SUBSCRIBE to your mailing list.

That is a pain in the ... , so to speak. It is only for experts, not for humble affiliate marketers.
