This going to be short post in reference to a blog post I read here yesterday about Happitravel. I checked out this program last night, after 15 minutes of filling out the forum to read and research it started getting unwanted calls plus text messages which I ignored because was reading.

The affiliate app is bogus kind of, not trustworthy at all.

You sign in as wholesale it is still setup as affiliate and tells you pay $99 a year.

Okay, my wedding anniversary is coming up February 17th, we are planning on St. Augustine trip for weekend if no more family issues after daughter comes home.

Which by way she will get to come home by Friday, which is tomorrow. Okay back to Happitravel.

I compared hotel stays from Happitravel to TripAdvisor and booking.com as I am partner with them as affiliate. The hotels with Happitravel are priced over $100 plus more than the well-known booking sites.

With the cruises, as also affiliated with cruise lines the same. The cruises are priced 1200 or more than you can actually book through a trusted travel agent.

You earn points to help you earn discount on your own future travel not your customers. I was thinking if they offer wholesale travel, you be able to book travel for your own customers.

The only affiliate link is to a poorly made phone app and you refer people to signup as an affiliate and they go through same process.

Not trying to knock the other member down who blogged about this yesterday, but help others who might be thinking of joining (in short DONT BOTHER).

Think about it this way, if you going on a trip and need to book a hotel, cruise, flights, or other travel you are going with lower prices and trusted sites that you know of for sure that is legitimate and not scams.

Here is another reason I'm skeptical of new travel websites like this one Happitravel. A teacher in Georgia a few years ago went to prison because she fell victim to travel scam website where she booked graduation trips, collected thousands of dollars from the students for them to go one the cruise. This teacher gave all evidence showing where she paid this website the money, for all the grads to go on the cruise but they never received their tickets. By the teacher being affiliated with the scam she went to prison for 5 years, that website and who is actually behind it they are still investing and looking for that owner who put that scam together. The FBI is involved, and they vow to stop all scams. I know about this, as this teacher was my kid's teacher in high school in Georgia before we moved back to Florida.

When it comes to getting involved with Travel and after briefly looking over Happitravel, i would suggest staying away. This is my view on Happitravel and I'm sticking with my already affiliated travel companies, as they are doing well for me.

Now didn't mean to burst any bubbles per say, but now its time for me go to hospital to see my daughter and sit with her today. She is doing very well, and wants to come home. It's like she walking on clouds after two surgeries as if nothing happened, that is the power of prayer.

Just do research before joining programs and paying any money. Happitravel not getting my hard-earned money (sorry).

Hello Jannette, I just noticed your blog post about my post that I posted a few weeks ago. I'm just letting you know I do stand behind Travel Gig and it's far from a scam. My good friend put me on to the opportunity because he's very good friends with the owner and creator of Happitravel Cameron Corr and he has a partner Mike Darling. They have about 30 years of experience in the travel and internet marking industry. It took them five years to build these two companies. I personally talk to Cameron frequently. I wouldn't bring a scam into the Wealthy Affiliate Family. Your review is unfair and also untrue. If you did your "research" that whole thing about St. Augustine trip, you can't compare Happitravels prices to other companies because you don't get those prices unless you purchase the VIP membership. If you "researched" and watched the videos you would know your viewing a HappiHotels DEMO. You signed up under me so if you did your "research" and watched the videos you would know I can see everything your doing on the App, The App is far! from "Bogus" It's one of the best Apps built if you did your "research". Those texts messages your talking about are from me, I even told you in the text message it was "Michael Ramos from Wealthy Affiliate" so you would know it was me and not a scam. Your totally correct about my actions with helping people also because I should of gotten a little more detailed about paying $99.00 to join the Affiliate program, but in my defense I was excited to throw it out there because it is going to disrupt the travel industry, and also if you don't know the whole travel industry online has been borderline monopolized by Expedia and Priceline. Those two companies own all the travel websites online "booking.com" your affiliate there......Priceline owns it. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure Tripadvisor is owned by Expedia. I also built a website thebesttravelstore.com that I have promoted here on Wealthy Affiliate that I get very in detail about everything about HappiTrips and Travel Gig. In closing if your going to knock something, make sure you fully "research" it before you knock it.

Hi Janette, I am glad Leann is recovering and doing well and will return soon. I saw that post about that travel company. Right away, my gut knew it looked like a shoddy business. Thanks for researching and informing others not to get involved in that company. I thought it was an affiliate link and there are posting rules about not spamming people, so I don't know his intentions to spam or give out inaccurate information, which isn't a good business strategy.

I did a brief check on that company and now need to find the link to unsubscribe because yesterday I received 14 unwanted texts when I got home last night and checked my email there were 24 emails from this company. I replied stop the text, that didn't work. It was an affiliate link and I don't know if it is still posted here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Good tips!

Happy your daughter is doing well and coming home.
Take care and best wishes.

I'm glad your daughter is coming home, Jannette! Thanks for the warning on Happitravel!

Jeff
