It’s a marathon not a sprint…
Funnily enough I’m not out vigorously exercising or playing any sport, but sat at my kitchen table with a cup of tea enjoying some peace and quiet while my two year old baby boy Joe sleeps in the living room.
As I listen to the dog snore as well, rather than feeling exhausted from the days work I’m actually invigorated by the thought of cracking on with the training! Every new task accomplished is one step in the right direction and I’m enjoying ticking things off my to do list!
I’m steadily making my way through phase 2 and trying to do the tasks as they come which is really satisfying. I’m just learning about keyword research and how to read the info on Jaaxy which is fascinating and I have my first list of keywords ready to be turned into keyword rich content!
Was also eye-opening to find out about the writing template, really looking forward to making good use of it!
I have my own registered domain ready to turn into a brand and am now about to start building out my website and building up towards signing up to affiliate sites….but all in good time!
I have a list of goals on my profile page and aiming for 5-10 posts within the first month. Will be a challenge but I’m up for it :D
It’s all just got me thinking about how this really is a marathon and not a sprint. You could say it’s a sprint from one goal to the next but it’s really about taking steady, consistent action and chipping away a little each day till you can tick another goal off the list.
If you’re struggling with motivation or belief, try writing a short list of easy action steps you could take to help move things forward and approach things in the same way as the low hanging fruit strategy. Not aiming too high to start with but getting lots of small jobs accomplished that together will add up nicely!
You’ll be amazed by how much you accomplish before you know and how much better you’re feeling about the process. Happy content building everyone :)

Spot on there James, it is always beneficial to take ones time and get things right, but always to keep moving forward my friend! :-)
Absolutely Jesse, keep chipping away and progressing :) just found out my site has been indexed by Google - I'm delighted and even more motivated now! Thanks for the positive comment :)
That's fantastic news my friend, keep on learning and adding value and the World is your oyster! :-)
Thanks for the suggestion to make a list of easy action steps. Sometimes I need to get motivated, too. What usually helps me is to get others going and then I start moving , too. All the best.
Hi Dee, you're welcome. Great suggestion, it's really helpful to hear what works for different people :) good luck with your journey!
Everything worth doing is always a marathon, James! If it is a sprint, then everything is hastily done and sloppy!
Jeff

Nice post! We're at about the same stage here at WA so still lots to learn but yes, a marathon not a sprint. I used to say to myself 'you go fast by going slow'...yes indeed one step at a time with focus at each stage and, soon enough, you're getting close to where you wan to be...
Thanks very much Grant :) yes, there’s much to learn but it’s an enjoyable race with one’s delve :) Totally agree about going fast by going slow. Thanks for the input 👍
